My husband and I spent 4 nights at the lodge and we just loved our stay there. The lodge is situated at the end of a dirt road (which is easy enough to drive), surrounded by rainforest. "Our" bungalow was spacious and clean, with a little kitchen and the biggest, most comfortable bed imaginable. There's a huge terrace facing the forest, an infinity pool from which you can see the forest and the ocean, and next to the pool breakfast is served. Apropos breakfast - this was lovingly prepared with a lot of fruit, including some native fruits to sample. The owners of the lodge were very helpful - more than that: our host pointed out some interesting wildlife to us on several occasions (including a group of howler monkeys, which sometimes come quite close).
We had come to Costa Rica mainly for birdwatching, and for this the lodge is an ideal place - just sit on your verandah for a couple of hours, and you will see a variety of fascinating birds visiting the trees nearby.
There are also lots of interesting places and activities within easy reach - so really this is the perfect place to stay, I would say.More
