We booked a superior room which was stated to be on the third or fourth floor. (Standard rooms were on the lower two floors and the deluxe rooms on the fifth floor). However on check-in we were told we were on the second floor and when we questioned this we were told that "superior" was for the service not the room even though there was a laminated sheet of paper stuck to the reception desk detailing the cost per night to upgrade to a "superior room on the third/fourth floor" or a "deluxe room on the fifth floor". We decided to stick it out in our room but the "superior service" we had paid for was clearly not noted as we did not get the complimentary wine, the hairdryer or even the air-conditioning remote until we chased reception on at least 3 occasions. The self catering facilities are very limited - we had a hob, kettle, toaster and coffee maker and a few utensils. Our toilet barely flushed and the rest of the bathroom was very tatty and incredibly poorly lit. The tiny 12in TV is wall mounted so hard to watch and hardly any foreign channels work.
There are many cats roaming around the area and hotel, so if you have a cat phobia avoid!
We had read many positive reviews of this hotel and were excited to be staying here but sadly it really didn't live up to expectation and we felt conned that all of their advertising around the hotel stated superior rooms were on third or fourth floors but we were shoved into a standard room with a standard service.
However, their late check out service is very helpful.

Room Tip: Do not get fobbed off with a lower floor if you have paid for superior or deluxe!

We stayed here for one week while on holidays in gran caneria. The accommodation was really nice, we booked a superior suite which included aircon and wifi (other rooms don't include there or you have to pay per day to avail of them) the apartment itself was large, the bed was massive, we could easily have had two more in the bed with us it was so big. We had a balcony overlooking the pool. We had a fridge which had a bottle of wine and a bottle of water left in it by the hotel for our arrival. I thought this was a nice touch. There was a hob, kettle, toaster, safe and all kinds of kitchen utensils if you wants to cook for yourself but food is so cheep we didn't bother. the rooms were cleaned everyday except for the weekend. Reception were extreamly helpful (24hr reception) the pool is quite small so we often when to the beach which was only a 5 minute walk away. The location of the apartment was perfect, we were a 5 minute walk from everything but it was still up far enough that you couldn't hear the hustle and bustle of the nightlife. The apartment has an onsite beautician and bar. The experience over all was very enjoyable and I would have no hesitations in recommending this to other people. The only downfall was the wifi- I paid for a superior room to have wifi included but it was very poor and often had to switch on my data to get internet so from that point of view I was disappointed so I wouldn't recommend buying wifi for your room but apart from that I couldn't fault the place.

We stayed here for a week in august. The hotel itself is very well maintained. Reception is on level 5 and the pool is at level 0. We stayed in a superior room, which had all we needed; aircon, kitchenette, hair dryer, balcony with a sea view,tv etc.
The pool is quite nice, although the usual suspects did hog all the beds early in the morning but would not use them until late afternoon (there are signs saying this isn't allowed but nobody enforces it) nice little pool bar, that had all the usual bits on the menu. Really nice sun loungers next to the bar but again, they'd be empty with towels on them.
There's steps that lead you on to a long path from level 0. Go rights at the bottom of the steps and take the left hand turn (just after a bridge) and that takes you to the beach/marina in 5 mins. If you turn right at the bottom of the steps it takes you to the commercial centre in 6 Mins.
The hotel is in a great location and we never got taxis as everything in is walking distance.
The rooms are serviced daily and towels arr chanhed daily.
All in all, it was a great holiday, hotel was lovely. The only reason I am giving 4 star rating is the lack of sun loungers (or lack of enforcement of staff to remove the usual suspects from bed blocking with towels)

Stayed 2 weeks, Nice apartment Great Staff Towels changed daily, beds changed every 5 days. No steps to walk to Town Centre but a winding bank, nice walk. We got taxis back. Hyperdino across the road which is really handy. Beautiful views over beach and ports.

Room Tip: All rooms good as they have great views.
