Visiting here for the first time and booked this restaurant for our first dinner. Warmly welcomed on arrival but given a table near the door which was cold. They quickly locked to offending door and all was well. A first course of whitebait for me was hot and delicious, one of the party had the ham hock terrine which was also good. Main courses of Hake, burger and a selection of the fish tapas were all pronounced good, particularly the salt and pepper squid. Desert was a little bit of a let down. The panda cotta did not have too much of a wobble, perhaps a little less gelatine, but tasted fine. How about some good Cornish ice cream on the menu? All in all a thoroughly good meal at a reasonable price.
