Such a dreamy beach if your into exploring and solitude ... The waters are a bit rough and I wouldn't recommend swimming unless your one of those fearless ocean dwellers ... We got down to the beach and you will see a bunch of BBQ Spots, walk all the way thru the thick brush to the right and it's like you have escaped to another world. Next visit to PR, we plan on preparing to hike the coast around the point. So
If your adventurous, plan ahead and pack your backpack and get lost on this white sand beach, it's soooo romantic ...

This 'beach' was very sketchy. When we drove into the parking lot people were staring and yelling something in Spanish at us. It was dirty and a lot of trash all over. Skip it.

We went on the jet ski trip off the Los Machos Beach. The trip was great. The beach itself was covered by seaweed, which we were told the local municipality was in process of cleaning up. Things are looking up for this area. Nearby Isla Pinero is a pristine island with some good snorkeling and white sand beaches. Only way to get there is by the boat or jet skis. Restaurant by the dock at Los Machos Beach has a good seafood variety.

This is a white sand beach and nice blue waters. The other side of the beach, Medio Mundo is better, but needs a good clean up and they need to pave the parking lot. The restaurant near the beach needs maintenance around the parking as well. This beach can beat Seven Seas. The city needs to pay attention to this area, have so much potencial for development.
