The hotel was beautiful and clean. Our room was huge with a king size bed with memory foam mattress. Loads of wardrobe space, separate toilet and bathroom. The bathroom had a cubicle shower plus a bath with a shower. All rooms on front have balconiesThe area is beautiful and the view from our room was amazing, looking over the mountains and hot air balloons going past every day. We thought at first the staff weren't very friendly but realised towards the end of the holiday they spoke very little English. As we made an effort with them they became more friendly. Now the food!! The first night most of our table chose chicken. This was a breast with a crumb coating which looked like it had been fried. On cutting it in half we all found it raw with blood in and poking the finger in it was cold. We sent it back and the next lot was all wet in the middle, maybe frozen and microwaved. The next night we opted for fish as a safer option, this was thin rolled up fish with spinach in ,AGAIN!! Raw and slimy in the middle. This was changed for boiled beef which was cooked and very nice but the spinach served with it had been liquidised and was a pool of green gloop. The mains is served to you but you help yourself to the rest. There are pans with a choice of two soups, salad, and cake and icecream. At the reception they give you a free bus pass to catch the bus outside the hotel to Kirchberg town and Kitzbuhel. There is no entertainment and drinks finish at 10pm.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front have excellent view of the mountains.

We travelled with Shearings for an all inclusive holiday to this hotel. We requested a balcony when we booked the holiday as in the Shearings brochure it said all rooms have a balcony. The room we were allocated didn't so the staff at reception gave us another room which was to our satisfaction. The room was spacious with comfortable beds, sofa, small table and a flat screen TV.
The drinks for all inclusive guests included wine and beer but not spirits.
The village is only a short walk away which took about 20 mins.
The evening meal had to be ordered the previous day and to us it was not a problem.
Our only disappointment was that we only had 4 nights there.

We travelled with Shearings to this hotel at the end of May. We had a very good room with excellent views looking out at beautiful scenery at the front of the hotel. We stayed on all inclusive basis but this is limited. Beer and wine was included from 10.00 to 10.00 daily. These were good and other drinks were reasonably priced.

Breakfast was adequate but not extensive. Packed lunches were provided for our daily excursions and would have served the purpose if the food was to our taste but we preferred to buy lunch while out. The evening meals were good with a reasonable choice. Starters and deserts were self service with waiter service for the main course (chosen the previous day). Dinner was very enjoyable.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Service was good. Staff were cheerful, helpful and hard working.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go again. I would recommend this hotel for couples and the whole holiday with Shearings is worth every penny and more.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front offer wonderful views of beautiful scenery

I have just returned from an all inclusive coach holiday with Shearings in Kirchberg, Austria. This was my first experience with them and I have nothing but praise overall. After a long tiring overnight journey( although this was my choice) we arrived at the Lifthotel. We were shown to a large newly decorated room at the rear of the hotel, very quiet. The restaurant provided us with cold buffet breakfast, hot midday lunch and 3 course evening meal, also packed lunches were available when out on trips, the food was of a very good standard throughout. The views from the hotel and the trips out were exceptional. The hotel is well located with a bus stop outside and also within easy walking distance (15 mins) into Kirchberg. There is a chair lift to the top of the mountain closeby with fantastic views and a choice of walks. All in all a great holiday with an added bonus of beautiful weather.

Room Tip: Best views to the front and quieter to the rear
