For the past few years I've been staying down the road a bit. BUt this time I wanted to be closer to the lifts and this is about as close as you can get. The staff was very nice and very helpful. The food is ok. Not bad but only above average. The wine selection though is very good and the restaurant staff is excellent. The pool is nice with nice views and very warm. My room was odd but an efficient use of space. it was a very narrow and long single. Very comfortable with a large bathroom. and nice views from the balcony. I will definitely b e coming back.

We were skiing in Winter in this area and discovered it is possible even in Summer. So we have had reservation for July in this hotel.
Location is the best. Just few meters from cable car to the glacier. It is possible to walk in ski boots even in summer.
Clean please. Really. Very good food. Not the best we got ever but very good.
Maybe not so much options but high quality for sure. Personnel is polite and very helpful. Also speaking good English, no problem with it at all.
What you have to try is massage. We both were more than satisfied with it. As for Kati, she is the best.
Parking in garage is very nice.
Wellness, nice and after skiing or hiking right place to relax.
Own box per room for skis and boots (with heating to get boots dry during the night).
In general. Typical tirolean please in old fashion but with all modern options. Even wifi was stable and useful.

We had a wonderful time staying at Neuhintertux for two nights in early Dec 2016. The service and people were incredibly nice, the location is perfect (right at the gondola) and the food was very good! The pool and sauna area is nice, although I wish that the pool/outdoor jacuzzi was a little warmer. The pool itself is large, with an incredible view before the sun sets, and the entire spa area is relaxing after a day on the slopes. You can rent skis/equipment right onsite at the Intersport. Everything about this hotel/location was very extremely easy! We had almost no issues with language and everyone spoke English well. I would highly recommend Neuhintertux if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay with impeccable service next to the slopes.

We enjoyed our stay on this hotel with my husband. This hotel is perfectly situated, very near to glacier lifts. Rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We also had our dinners on the hotel restaurant and really valued them. Breakfast was also perfect.

We spent four nights in The Hotel Neuhintertux in April.
Generally, the place offers quite good (but perhaps not excellent) quality of rooms, food and service. Superb location for skiers, I can not think what others could do there, as there is not much more to do, especially at that time of the year, when you can not walk in the mountains.
We were there during the low season (and rather bad weather), so the hotel was about 70% full during the weekend, and about 30-40 % on Monday and Tuesday.

What I was disappointed with, was the sauna area - quite small for the hotel of this size, must be very crowded when the hotel is full. Would you believe that the only silent room has only six beds ? Ok, they are waterbeds, so pleasant, but hey, six beds to relax in silence is a joke ! Besides, the door to the silent room does not close properly, so the silence is problematic when people talk outside.
To provide the honest info - yes, there are quite many beds around the swimming pool (probably some 25-30 of them), but it is always rather loud there, just like at any pool at any hotel accepting kids.

Still, the hotel is better than Alpenbad Hotel Hohenhaus (also located in the area), so if you have a choice, go to the Hotel Neuhintertux.
