We spent 2 nights at the Hotel Escale on 6th and 7th of January and chose a superior room at an amazing €140 per night (low season). The room was spacious and had huge windows overlooking the beautiful beach. The bathroom was large with a deep clawfoot bath and a separate shower. Breakfast was served in an elegant room overlooking the beach. A great selection of fresh fruit, yogurts, freshly squeezed orange juice (diy) and good choice of cheeses, cold meats, eggs cooked to order and lovely fresh bread and pastries. Helpful and friendly staff addded to the above made this a memorable weekend despite the weather, which was wet and miserable on Saturday (it was early January). In addition, although we didn't use them the price includes the option to use the spa facilities at the sister Hotel Donny.

It's about the 15th time we stay in the same room with a magnificent sea-view, even from the bed. Perfect room service and very friendly people running the place which is relaxing because there are not many rooms. Probably the best breakfast in De Panne but certainly the nicest view.

Room tip: Book in time , only 3 rooms with sea-view

Travelling from London to st tropez and back to London via Belgium on our scooter staying in over 15 hotels This was the highlight of our holiday . We booked this hotel last minute from a coffee shop in town, on arrival the gentleman at reception was so welcoming nothing was a problem. We stayed in the seaview room that has amazing views of the sea and promenade, lovely size room with great bathroom & dressing room very clean. Breakfast was very nice and again the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Definitely visit Belgium again and stay at this lovely hotel.

We came to have breakfast here for 15 euro per person. The breakfast room is on the first floor, with a truly amazing view of the cost - like a painting. Staff is extremely friendly and offers eggs as you want, tea or coffee. There is everything we wanted, and oranges to make fresh orange juice. Would recommend this place for breakfast and we are looking forward to sleep here as well!

Room tip: Choose one with sea view!

We stayed here one night without having planned it. What a great surprise it was! WE booked a room with sea view, and wow what a view! Room is big and clean, bathroom is very big and clean with shower cubicle and bath tub. Pet friendly. Very good bed, walk in closet with a safe box. The room is lovely and the view is amazing. Breakfast on the first floor was great too, very good selection of sweet and savoury in a very charming set up with sea view too. Staff is super friendly and seem to speak all the languages! The only thing is that we didn't know that after 6pm the reception is closed so you need to check in at their sister hotel Denny which is located around 200 mts away. Parking is also in that hotel. We definitely will come back for a short break!
