Soll-Cress is easy to find being close to a key road junction. It sits right by a coastal tram stop and is a short distance from the extensive sandy beach of Koksijde. There's plenty of free parking en site and close by. This is a family run and modelled hotel with pride and attention to detail. It has well furnished decent sized en suite rooms and is suitable for disabled clients. The owners and staff are multi-lingual, proffer a warm welcome and (to a person) are helpful and considerate. Breakfasts are excellent. The restaurant serves up well presented lunches and dinners from a wide menu. Facilities include an indoor pool.
Koksijde is a lovely clean town with a fabulous beach and numerous fine restaurants. The local museum near Soll-Cress is worth a visit.

Admitted the kitchen is based on grandma's expierence. Perfect, no bull. ordered menu of the day. Was fish backed in butter like only grandma can do, however the chef is a young leady. Definitly a second visit worth!

Just returned from our 3rd visit.Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is home cooked, fresh and of an excellent standard. Rooms are basic but extremely clean with all facilities but no tea or coffee making facility as the restaurant and bar cater for all needs. Well situated from transport with a tram stop outside and just over the road to the sea, within walking distance of amenities, museums etc.Spa treatments and pool available. Great place to stay

Room tip: rooms vary great deal in size, check website-new family rooms now available

I stayed at this family hotel during a 4 day conference. It might look odd at the beginning because of many objects that don't seem to connect until you find out that that this place has been run by this family for over 45 years. Then... every object has a story and is connected to the people who are running this hotel. It's like visiting family in Belgium. A nice, cosy room with breakfast that gives a selection of typical Flamish choices for breakfast and meals cooked with local fresh produce from the markets. You must try their fish dishes as the cook in this family masters the secrets of cooking fish. If you look carefully, you will discover the awards they received for it.
And for any question or need you might have, there is always an answer coming from the reception desk. Loved their hospitality!
There is an indoor swimming pool, which is warm enough for swimming and clean. The only wish I had was that it was possible to use it after dinner, as we were all day in the conference room.
There is internet available but be aware that when many people are connected, the connection drops.
The tram stops in front of the hotel and it's easily accesible.

Room tip: Ask for a quiet room if road traffic disturbs your sleep

I stayed at hotel for 4 days, we had a conference meeting. It was very homely, the staff was very kind and helpful, my room was big and clean and they have a swiming pool. The food was excellent - it was homemade cooking, also the service was excellent.
