Stayed almost a week at this hotel and even with the Corona situation, had a very enjoyable stay.
One does need a certain amount of luck to get one of the parking spaces at the hotel. Most guests have their bikes with them including the bike trailers that take up some space in the lot.
The room was rather warm for sleeping.
The location of the hotel is very good - lots to see and do in the vicinity. Some rather nice restaurants in town as well.
Have never been to Germany before & went only for my husband to compete in the ‘Challenge Roth’ Ironman. I was really surprised at how beautiful Bavaria is! The most friendly helpful staff & great food, beer & Gunzenhausen has a beautiful village atmosphere! Great spot, great hotel!
The hotel Adler Bräu is located directly on the market square of Gunzenhausen . The entrance is located through the parking lot behind the tavern.
The hotel is set-up in the annex building. The rooms are of good size, nicely decorated in modern design with a comfortable bed, an armchair, and a desk that comes with an impractical stool instead of an office chair. The bathroom is equipped with a shower cabin. Rooms and bathrooms are perfectly clean. W_LAN worked reliably and quickly. The rooms are quiet with views over the Park
A beautiful spa area with a steam bath, a herbal of bio - and Finnish sauna is on the third floor.
Breakfast is served in the Guest House. The buffet is generously garnished with high-quality products. Egg dishes are freshly prepared on request. Traditional dishes are offered in the typical Bavarian brewing room. The food was tasty and the prices fair.
On the paved front of the hotel entrance are sufficient free parking spaces available.
The employees were without exception friendly and attentive. I can recommend the hotel nice I without hesitation.
Very nice hotel. Rooms are clean. Breakfast offer is quite good. A big advantage of the hotel is the restaurant. Food there is really good, depending on the time of the year they offer season specialties - for example chanterelles (Pfeferlingen) - delicious ! I always come back there with pleasure.
We booked a room on the groundfloor with a small terrace and access to the garden for our two children. The room and the hotel facilities are spotless, the food is delicious, and generally the hotel is very family and children friendly. It is in a very good location in order to explore the city and the nearby lake on foot or by bicycle.
