+Wonderful peaceful villa with stunning views and sunsets
We (family of 3) had a fabulous 2 week holiday at this beautiful villa. We had booked it as we wanted a quiet, peaceful retreat but with easy access to shops and restaurants - as well as the port - as we knew we wanted to do a bit of island-hopping in the Cyclades. This villa certainly ticked all our boxes!
The property is situated up a hill (you do need a hire car really but we always intended to hire one in order to explore the island anyway) and has the most stunning views over the bay and harbour. And up the hill just behind the house are the ruins of the Delian Sanctuary of Apollo where you can get even better sunset views!
After a delayed ferry journey we were met on arrival at the port by the super-helpful Andreas who showed us the route to the villa and explained where things were. Andreas also came to our rescue when we had a problem with the keys, so I can't thank him enough for his kindness and help!
The villa itself was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen is well equipped. There is air-con in the bedrooms (which are downstairs) but as there is always a lovely breeze up the hill you don't actually need it anywhere else in the house. There is a spacious living room with a large TV (we didn't even turn it on!) and good wifi connection, and a large wooden dining table indoors. Bathrooms are clean and functional, but relatively basic (tho standard for a lot of similar places we had stayed in Greece!) But the highlight of this lovely villa is the covered terrace where we ate all our meals - it has absolutely stunning views and we spent many an hour out there, with coffee in the morning or wine in the evening, watching the ferries come and go and never tiring of that beautiful sunset and the sea views.
The garden and pool area were also a complete joy - beautiful planting - grapevines, bougainvillea, cacti and geraniums - clearly a lot of time and effort has been spent on it. There is a shady cover for 4 x sunbeds right next to the lovely pool, and a built-in BBQ. The pool is well maintained and perfect and there are other little spots in the grounds where you can sit and read / relax in both sun and shade. The photo's really don't do it justice on this site!
Bryan was incredibly helpful both before and during the booking process and again whilst we were at the villa, answering any questions swiftly and offering useful tips and advice in advance of our trip - and whilst we were out there. I cannot thank him enough.
We would be absolutely delighted to recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful, traditional Greek holiday, and would happily return ourselves in the future!

Do not waste your money here
Damp bedrooms, dirty smelly bathrooms, inaccurately described accommodation, owner couldn't care less once he has your money. We stayed a single night after arriving very late at night following an 18hr journey with 2 young children and left early the following morning the place was that disgusting. We were forced to find emergency accommodation at great personal, who wants that kind of stress on holiday with 2 young kids? Eventually recovered all of our money via TripAdvisor after the owner offered us an insulting £100 refund.

I am always open to fair comments about my home but its very upsetting when someone greatly distorts the truth.
This guest complained about damp and provided photos with a small amount of flaking dry paint. Properties on the top of a hill in Greece dont have damp in July.
I am very proud of my home with the garden regularly being attended to and the pool cleaned twice a week.
I have a very good cleaner who takes great pride in her work. The house had been cleaned to a good standard the day before. Unfortunately the cleaner did miss the bathroom and immediately visited the villa the following morning to rectify things.
Its sad when some people just want to complain about things for no
genuine reason.
Perhaps that what happens when someone travels 18 hours with young children.
If you have any questions about my home then please feel free to ask.
Kind regards
Bryan

Wonderful House
What a wonderful house to rent. Pictures do not do this property justice. So nice we didn't want to leave. The owner was extremely accommodating. We will definitely be back again. Also the island of Paros is a magical place.

The most amazing views and sunsets.
We really enjoyed our stay here, the outside of the villa is 5 star! One of the most amazing views overlooking the sea and Parikia. It was completely mesmerising. Each night the sunset was just stunning from the balcony or by the pool. You can also walk a couple of minutes up to the Sanctuary of Apollo which is behind the villa...again the views are just amazing.
We found the pool area really lovely, 4 good sunbeds and a well kept pool. The gardens are also very pretty and very well kept. The area is lovely and quiet and out of the way but only 5 mins into parikia...you could walk but I wouldn't fancy the walk back! We were so lucky to see the Luna Eclipse here, absolutely magnificent view and the roof is a good place to star gaze.
The beach is a five minute drive and if you get there before 10 its pretty empty and you can get a tree for shade. Even if July Paros doesn't get too overcrowded and if you get a car you can explore the other great beaches. Monolos beach is huge and very quiet, the town of Lefkes is a great little trip out too, very pretty town. Also a half an ferry to Anti paros is great too.
We used Acropolis car rental who were really helpful and even picked us up from the airport.
Its worth researching before you go as there is no information about the area or places to visit while you there in the villa, which is a shame. You cant beat local knowledge!
The inside of the house isn't the same standard as the outside, the sofa in the living room is very uncomfortable but it didn't matter too much as we didn't sit inside much but our teenagers did in the afternoon. Kitchen is ok, furniture is a little odd but not a problem. The down stairs of the house is very cool and the aircon was welcome in the evening. Shower could do with updating but served its purpose. Not sure it would suit 6 people but ok for four of us (two adults and two teenagers) Double bed is also two singles pushed together.
WIFI is also good.
My only issue was there was no washing machine, I feel when you go away for two weeks (especially with just hand luggage) a washing machine is essential! The owner suggested using the launderette but I feel when you are paying a fair sum for a villa using the laundrette isn't really acceptable. He did offer to pay for us to get the washing taken away. It wouldnt stop me from going back as we had a really great couple of weeks, I would just pack a little different.
So overall a wonderful holiday and we miss those views, a photo can never do it justice.

Lovely house, lovely view.
My family and I stayed for a week at this house. Owner was very helpful. House was lovely. Views from pool, deck and veranda are fantastic. A great place to spend a week relaxing and reading. It was a quick drive into town - you will need a car but we only used a quarter tank of fuel during the week - and even quicker to beach. Had never been to Paros but really liked the island. The town is great. Very family friendly, lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. Not a place for nightclubs, but then we were not looking for that.

Fantastic view and very self contained
The villa provided us with everything we could have possibly needed for the 10 days we stayed.
The combination of the rooms on being on the bottom floor and having air con kept the temperature very cool and as a result we found it very easy to sleep, which can sometimes be a struggle with villas in Greece.
The cooking facilities enabled us to cook everything we needed including barbecues.
The villa is in a very quiet and peaceful location, about a 40 minute walk down the hill into town and we did this almost every night. Walking back up can be a struggle but a taxi from Parikia ranges from 8 to 15 euros, although a car rental would be suggested especially to travel around Paros.
The avaliability of Wifi in the villa was useful, and it was a decent speed for streaming films and skyping friends.
The view is incredible and no pictures can do it justice. Waking up every morning and walking into the balcony in the bright sunshine and seeing the view of Parikia and the surrounding islands is an image that will not be forgotten.
I would recommend this villa to everyone who is looking for a laid back holiday in the islands.
