Really loved our 7 nights at this Masseria. It is really such a beautiful and tranquil spot. The owner's attention to detail makes it really luxurious and the fact that it is a family run business really adds to it's charm. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable and I loved the lighting inside, as well as the huge bathroom with really nice shower. The terrace outside of our room was private and nice for sitting out in the evening. We usually stay in Mr and Mrs Smith hotels and I really felt like this hotel should be a part of their collection too. My favourite elements: the amazing breakfast spread, the ladies who remembered what coffee we drank and brought it without asking, the pool with abundance of shade and sunny loungers, the book exchange (!), the owner Daniele who knows all the best things to do and explore ;), the cooking, also I will mention the other guests because everyone we met there was lovely. I would definitely return and recommend :) grazie mille!

When you drive towards this agroturismo hotel the first time you don't really believe the pictures that you have seen online. But the moment you arrive is like you are walking in a different age. This is a superb and quite unique hotel. The setting and decoration reminds you of the old good times with every piece of decor having a story. The rooms are cosy, not very big and for some reason it does remind me of my grandmother's village house. The swimming pool area is fantastic to relax and offers drinks and snacks. There are small snacks available throughout the dining area which are very tasty. The hotel offers dining every evening with a set menu which sometimes might not be appealing to everyone, BUT I would advise to try. Every ingredient is so pure, natural and tasty that even the offered menu is not your favourite you will enjoy it. Finally, the owner, Danielle, is a very friendly and fantastic guy. He offered us a lot of tips for the surrounding area. He was extremely friendly and understanding with all our needs and the best thing is that he liked doing it which makes a huge difference. Will definitely visit again! Thanks very much for these fantastic days.

I visited Masseria Salinola with my wife and daughter for 5 days and enjoyed a wonderful stay. The host Daniele was very charming and had a real attention to detail. The property was immaculate, the restaurant was superb and the service was excellent.
The building is a converted 17th century farmhouse which retains all of the original features and all of the modern comforts you expect. The property has its own 500 tree olive grove, grows 3 tonnes of tomatoes per year and also has a phenomenal vegetable & herb garden. All of these resources are used to great effect in the superb restaurant.
The Masseria has a lovely swimming pool which my daughter spent a great deal of time in.
It is very rare for me to give 5* rating but, this place far exceeded my expectations. The breakfasts are amazing with an amazing selection of charcuterie, cheeses, preserved vegetables, cakes and fruits. The set menu dinners were truly superb and extremely good value for €35 per head. The wine list contained the best Puglian wines and were a real to enjoy.
In summary Masseria Salinola is a wonderful place for total relaxation and amazing food & service.
My only criticism was the wifi network that was quite slow.

It was quite clear from the moment that we arrived that this was not a hotel; it was not a traditional Bed & Breakfast either. Instead, imagine an Italian home, where the owners greet you at the door, offer you a welcoming glass of wine or Prosecco on the tranquil terrace, giving you time to catch your breath and absorb the location, style and attention to detail that oozes from every corner of their beautifully restored and cared for Masseria.

It is not just the unique style of the rooms, the furnishings and the food that make this place special, but the third and fourth generations of the same family who are responsible for maintaining and enhancing its traditions and, ultimately, its legacy. It is Daniele and, discretely in the background, his parents, along with his girlfriend Miriam, and the team around them who make this such a special place – nothing is too much trouble, whether it is making recommendations for sightseeing in the area or accommodating different food requests. These people really care about every last detail, welcoming everyone with equal warmth and good humour, yet also acting with discretion and respecting guests’ privacy.

We stayed here for 5 nights and could not have chosen a better place from which to explore the historic towns of central Puglia, the beautiful beaches and gin-clear waters of the Adriatic and Gulf of Taranto coasts, as well as sampling some of the region’s superb food and wine. Before arriving we had planned to have our evening meals at a variety of places, but after experiencing the first night’s amazing regional cuisine (three courses, plus the chef’s ‘surprise’ appetiser and a fresh fruit course) we knew we would be dining here every night on the beautiful terrace overlooking the stunning pool. Daniele was always on hand to share his knowledge on the lovely regional wines.

The garden, surrounded by rows of olive trees, is delightful and is testament to the superb fresh herbs, fruit and vegetables that find their way into the cuisine. This is a region that is famous for using whatever happens to be in season, and the chefs certainly embrace the ethos of cooking with delicious, fresh ingredients.

This is a very special place and we, like the other guests we met, did not want to leave.

Fabulous 4 days stay. We had a Wonderful room. The food was delicious and all of it local and home grown and made. The pool area was fantastic. The staff and family running the masseria could not have been more helpful and professional. Altogether a great stay.
