We stayed here during a 3 week trip to Spain and Portugal. After intense touring and sightseeing in Mardid, Barcelona and Granada, we were ready for a bit of relaxation and this hotel was the perfect place to just sit back and enjoy the view. We had a very nice room of which the best part was the balcony where we had breakfast every day. We were directly above the tennis court and had stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean to the south and to the west we could look across the water to see the town of Lagos Portugal.
Just getting to the hotel was a study in ever more relaxing settings. Pulling off of the main road you encounter a small unpaved road, a short distance on the small road and you turn off onto and even smaller unpaved road which leads you to the hotel itself. In a sense, driving down these small roads is driving away from cares and worries into a secluded paradise.
On a practical note, the hotel is on a point of land overlooking the ocean. It is filled with artwork, has a small pool, tennis court and access to one of the small secluded beaches that the Algarve is known for. It also affords access to trails along the bluffs witch wend their way through the amazing rock formations for which the Algarve is known.
