Best meal in the Algarve. The setting is so pretty and the atmosphere is mesmerizing. The food is exceptional and so is the service. Kathie has created a true gem in this beautiful place and you have to visit as this is one THE restaurant you do not want to miss out on. The only problem is to choose between all the mouthwatering items on the menu! An absolute experience you cannot miss out on! Trust me, you will thank me for this advice.

I just love this restaurant, the food is very different and so tasty. The ambience is very good, it feel's that your at home. The owner ( a Canadian girl ) is very friendly and makes you so welcome when you walk in.
It quite tiny so it's best to book the night before you plan to go, it is a bit out the way but it's definitely worth going the food is so good.

We stopped off here for an evening meal, whilst on honeymoon.
The woman who served us was friendly, helpful and very lovely. She gave us a very warm welcome, and offered us seating in the restaurant or courtyard. We accepted the latter, and were directed to a small but very quaint and atmospheric courtyard. She was very attentive to our needs, and gave us speedy, friendly service. The liver in Madeira sauce was very tasty.
The pork was really delicious and tender, and the steak was cooked to perfection. We finished our meal with yummy crepes.
Would defiantly recommend this restaurant. The best food we had during out stay.

Our first full day in Portugal has been topped off by a lovely evening at The Village Inn. It did come recommend by our guest house owner. We weren't disappointed!
Charming and very friendly host Kathie sat us down in her welcoming establishment where we had the most attentive service with the most delicious food at brilliant prices.
We booked as it is a small place and seemingly popular. For our evening meal we had Cover, garlic toast carrots and olives to wet our appetite. Chinese style chicken/Lambs liver for starters. Home made steak & kidney pie/Fillet steak for mains & chocolate orange fondue to finish. All was cooked and served so beautifully. With wine, 57 euros. Such value. A pallet cleanser between starter and main was unexpectedly welcome.
We will be back for more!

The loveliest of evenings.
Our only negative is that we didn't find you until our last night- you wouldn't have been able to get rid of us!
Kathie, you are the hostess with the mostest- I can't begin to tell you how thrilled I am with my napkin rings!
Our food was delicious, quick and well presented, and we felt like we were the only people in the world, you were interested, attentive and great company.
We will be recommending and revisiting you soon.
Big love and sparkles
