Excellent choice on the San Juan Road if you're not up for the grilled meat places - varied menu with excellent wine list. Reasonably priced for Ibiza and wonderful service.

One of my favorite restaurants in Ibiza is ses Escoles. It is located next to Sant Joan road (km 9.8) inside a large olive farm where organic oil is produced. The restored building was formerly the Sant Llorenç school, hence the establishment’s name. In addition, you can acquire some of the most typical and well-known products of the island in its small shop, as well as the extra virgin olive oil Can Miquel Guasch which, of course, is its cuisine hallmark.
Entering the restaurant, you will see an inviting bar area. On the right, there is a large room with an original decoration. And to the left, you will find a covered patio with a romantic atmosphere. The noticeable space between tables will make your stay comfortable. This establishment is often very busy so reservations are always recommended, even in winter.
You can taste typical dishes of the island with a modern touch and suitable to all pockets and palates. I recommend trying their tasty traditional “cocas”, as well as their delicious grilled meats. And talking about desserts, the brownie is amazing.
The service is excellent. The waiters usually respond very kindly to all questions and they do not hesitate to ask the kitchen if necessary.
Even though it is not a cheap restaurant, the bill is usually very reasonable, considering the nice quality of their products, the good service and the cozy atmosphere.

Fantastic restaurant, what a wonderful surprise! Stumbled across this restaurant on our way back to hotel near San Lorenzo. Staff super friendly, food was deliciously tasty. The tartare de Atún was spicy to perfection! All the deserts are a must.
An absolute must if you are on the island. Great value for quality. Definitely would recommend !!!

Recommended and booked by our hotel - glad they did as we might not of got in!! Nice staff and welcome. Food is fantastic and reasonable priced as is the wine. Had a bowl of vegetable tempura (sticks of battered vegetables). Lamb chops and lamb on a skewer for main course with potatoes and veg, shared pannacotta plus a bottle of house wine (less than 70 euros) We were also offered a limoncello to finish. Great meal and atmosphere.
Ps Make sure you have a Sat Nav or smart phone.
