This is entirely my/our view and our experience of our stay .... Good bits.. The location of the hotel is very good for central Mahon and the port set in a residential street it can can a little noisy but to be expected in a city location. Free car parking 10 min walk away. On first arrival we thought the hotel beautiful and we were greeted by Debbie, by far the hotels best asset. We had booked a Nobila room which was located at the front of the hotel a large room but decorated in a shabby chic way, all old painted furniture (wardrobe drawers were very difficult to open and close). Very comfy large bed and lovely large bathroom with a good shower. Amenities were very nice although a good modern coffee machine would be nice instead of a big kettle and cheap coffee granules. Also no English Tv channels working on the Tv except for Bloomberg (who wants to watch stock markets all day?) lots of other languages available (It show BBC World on TV menu but it was a French channel] we pointed it out on day one of our stay but nothing done.
The bad bits... Service or absolute lack of it, the reception closes daily during siesta time with odd opening hours on the door, this is no good for staying guests in a very expensive hotel. We left our room key in the room during this time and trying to find someone to get us a new key what not easy and we were told by a waitress in the coffee shop we would have to wait until it opened again in an hour!! Needless to say it didn’t go down well and she did manage to sort it out for us. We felt it’s more of a Guest House Or B&B rather than a hotel.
The honesty bar, a nice idea but poorly stocked, no ice, no Glasses and I’d noticed it hadn’t been replenished from the items we had taken the night before.
What let this place down for us what the absolutely dreadful breakfast service, served in the lovely courtyard from 8-12 except there was never anything left in the buffet, every single day of our stay we had to ask for items.. cutlery, cheese, bread (only one choice) , no yogurt left, no fruit, etc etc it became a bit of a joke. Also it seems the public can also come in for breakfast which is fine but then we were left waiting one morning for a free table, and then had to ask for someone to clean it up. The lack of waiting staff is apparent in the morning, not once were we approached and asked if we would like something hot, we had to try to get their attention every day. A fried egg...that’s what you get, nothing more, a fried egg presented on a small side plate so no room for my toast! Fried egg with bacon, each presented on a small separate side plate (one large plate would be a good idea!).
We were there to celebrate my ‘big birthday’ which the hotel were informed of before hand, but absolutely no acknowledgment whatsoever.. nothing..not a ‘happy birthday’ nothing!
On leaving we had a different staff member on reception, a quite miserable male. We waited for our taxi and when it arrived he left the reception to the back office, no “Thank you, goodbye, have a good trip, hope you enjoyed your stay” nothing!
The festival was on in Mahon during our stay which seemed to be an excuse for everything but the hotel was completely fully booked, it was pointed out on our arrival that the restaurant would be shut the entire weekend!?
We love staying in boutique hotels and don’t mind paying the price but this ‘hotel’ did not warrant the the price paid for the poor experience delivered.

My partner and I are traveling a lot - As we live in Mallorca we decided to discover the little "sister island" Menorca... We fell in love straight away with Mahon, the capital city of Menorca... Such a positiv energy, just 120 km away from our home... Mallorca

To find a nice hotel in Mahon is not that difficult - but we are a bit spoiled so we wanted to find a beautiful boutique hotel.

The Jardi de ses Bruixes is a little paradise by itself: a wonderful patio where a rich breakfast is served by very friendly employees, sitting under the orange trees... Cultural events also take place in this patio. A great idea from the owners.

The suite we booked (room 10 - with a private little pool to sit in and a few weeks later
room number 13) were very quiet and beautiful furnished.

Also at the reception everybody was so incredibly friendly and helpful - even the ladies from house keeping were constantly smiling.

But what I really have to mention is the SPA - Such a WAUW - I can write for hours but I won't - just have a look at their Website!

I realy can recommend the JARDI DE SES BRUIXES to all of you who wants to relax, enjoy the friendliness of the employees, the central location (free parking place just 200 meters away) the good food and the individuality and great- and trendy taste of the owners.

Room Tip: I stayed in room 10 (private little plunch pool) and room number 13! Thumbs up!!

Our one week stay at this fabulous little hotel was unforgettable. The room was perfect with every little detail accounted for: complimentary still and sparkling water, coffee and tea and some nuts to snack on. The towels, robes and sheets are top quality and a dream to lay around in. The breakfast was in a beautiful garden with delicious food and lots to choose from and you can also request items that are made to order. The service was exquisite and the hotels recommendations were spot on. We have nothing but amazing things to say about our time here!

I recently went to have a brunch her with a friend. First of all, actual ambience of the hotel is just stunning. The music in the background gives you a complete feeling of tranquillity. The garden area is so pretty and even though there are other people enjoying the same experience, you feel as if you are the only people there. The service is wonderful and if it's your first time they explain how the brunch sitting works. You need at least two hours to enjoy each and every drop of food brought to your table. The food is so fresh and tasty. Just absolutely lovely. Wonderful staff all round and Deborah on reception is so helpful. Thank you. See you soon.

Room Tip: We just came for the brunch.

Had a fantastic stay at Boutique Hotel Jardi de ses Bruixes. Nothing could be faulted. The staff were fantastic from check in and throughout our stay. The central courtyard is just stunning. Rooms beautifully decorated and high end bathrooms. The roof terrace is small but great for some views over the town. Breakfast was lovely and long hours at the weekend which is great. When you visit you absolutely must must visit the spa. It is a highlight and worth the spa circuit alone but the treatments were fabulous. I would not hesitate to stay here again. We didn't eat at the restaurant but even if you are not staying at the hotel, it is worth visiting the cafe for cake and coffee.
Menorca is so lovely and the beaches all being very close were great. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Room Tip: You can see each room on their website.
