This Chef is being traveling the world for many years , looking for places and culinary adventures , Monteverde is a lovely place in the mountains in Costa Rica Central America.
I Am Peruvian so when i found a Peruvian place i must try.
Monteverde Gastro Club is the whole deal, Chef Roberto Cruz is a rising star, He when to culinary academy in Guanacaste, then when to San Jose and work for a french Chef and a Peruvian Chef. When you se his presentations and taste the flavors you will find out that je learn and learn right. He never set a feet in Peru but his flavors are the ones I grew up with. Amazingly he cook better than some Peruvian cooks in south florida. The ceviche was amazing serve with papa and corn, the cuts on the fish and onions were perfect. The flavors OMG not only good but authentic. The tuma tataki with quinua tabule and a soy and sesame oil with lime in other words a dressing acevichado. This place is a must go if you are in Monteverde or close.
