We stayed at House Tina just before going to Plitvice Lakes National Park. It was a bit difficult to find, but we’re glad we found it!

The room was small, but nice. It’s a family run place, which was full during our stay. The place also has a swimming pool and sells ticket vouchers for the park so one doesn’t have to stand in line.

The breakfast (included) had the usual European fare, plus eggs cooked to order. We opted to eat supper there as well as the offer seafood and meats cooked on the grill in the dining room. We shared a single portion of the mixed grill with wine and beer to start. The mixed grill was ample for 2, perfectly cooked, and served with grilled vegetables as well as fried potatoes (large, like steak fries) and came with salad. I have not complaints about either meal and recommend eating here, especially if you are in a hurry.

If you are headed to the park, stay at House Tina!

Cheerful, low-key hotel about a 10-15 minute drive from the park. (You can buy your park ticket at the hotel in kuna and skip the huge ticket line at the park. And they’ll pack you lunch if you’d like. It doesn’t get easier than this!) The room wifi could be a little spotty and the walls were a little thin...but the fantastic, delicious dinners more than made up for that!

My husband and I spent five nights here in July 2018 and received fabulous service from the family who run the hotel. Delores and Sven were so attentive and catered for our every need. The breakfast is very good and just what you need before seeing the lakes. Dinner is also very good, with a choice of mixed meat, trout, squid or tuna cooked on the barbecue. Beware, the portion sizes are enormous and a meal for one more than catered for me and my husband. Our room was serviced to a very high standard every day, the pool was immaculate and there's even a laundry service available so you can return home with a suitcase full of clean washing.
There's nothing to criticise about House Tina, we absolutely loved it. Thank you, Andrea & Mark

Had a wonderful stay at House Tina! We did not have a car as we had taken the bus from Zagreb; we were given a ride to the park in the morning and they helped us figure out how to store our luggage while at the park. The dinner was delicious; highly recommend the trout! Seemed like a family run operation where everyone went out of their way to make the guests feel special.
Rooms are not fancy, but very clean and comfortable; perfect for the experience!

We loved House Tina. We had a nice sized room with a pleasant balcony. There is nothing fussy about this hotel, it's simple and comfortable and has everything you need for a great stay near Plitvice Park. There is a delightful outdoor swimming pool, and the food is the best we had while in Croatia. We particularly enjoyed the freshly caught fish and the whole meal tasted like great home cooking.

Room tip: We enjoyed our balcony.
