Friendly owner and family. All you have to do is talk to them. Rooms are basic but clean. Clean towels every other day. Sheets changed regularly. Lovely pool. Close enough to bars without being surrounded by noise. Maria at the bar was very friendly and accommodating. Don’t know what people expect from a budget hotel. We had a great time

Honestly we dont know were to start!
1. The building looks like falling apart (most probable never renovated since built)
2. The shower in the room was disguisting. The pipes were leeking, the toulet was stinking before being used.
3. Breakfast: There was only old and hard bread, jam und butter, several pieces of something like cheese and ham (it was not possible to eat). The coffee in the machine was so duisguisting that the guests had to buy there own coffee powder from the supermarket! The milk tasted like white-coloured water!
4. The owner at the reception was totally uninterested in what went on in his hotel, totally unfriendly. The cleaning / service woman was very nice and helpful. Pitty such people have to work for sich a place!
5. The beach next to the hotel is small and rocky (be careful).
6. As for the price. Its not that low for this service! The two start the hotel has are a joke!!!
We definitely dont recommend to stay in Heon!!!

Very basic apartment, with shabby decor and, cracked sink in bathroom. Staff not very welcoming and they weren't happy about supplying new towels after 6 days! The location of this hotel is great and as we were fortunate that we could use other hotel pools we only used hotel to sleep in. Seems a shame that the owners don't put back into the rooms what guests deserve..

This hotel is located close to the beach and is next to bars and restaurants. Its rooms are dated and simple in terms of facilities and quality but i guess this is why they are relatively low priced.

- location
- price

- dated rooms
- dates facilities
- uncomfortable beds

Room Tip: If all you want is a clean and cheap room at a good location and this hotel may be a good choice.

This is a honest review based on both circumstances.

So me and my wife were on our honeymoon. We were not meant to stay here but due to a major error by our booking company (Holiday Gems) we were offered this as an alternative due to them not being able to secure us our choice apartments.

It was unfortunate that we arrived on what was apparently the worst storm for 20 years in which golf ball sized hail had smashed the island. We arrived at Neon hoping for the best but this was far from adequate never mind best. The young receptionist who was polite throughout our short stay was unaware of our booking at first has it had been made 30 mins before our arrival. She then told us she would have to come with us to our room as several had been damaged by the storm. The room was in a disgusting state, the girl was attempting to clean it as we were their but then said she would offer us a different room as this room was unacceptable. The other room was a single bed with one wicker chair and table.

We were on our honeymoon so this was totally not going to happen. I would not have accepted this as a 21 year old lad on a boys holiday. The place was very dated and had a musty smell to it. The only positive I would say the receptionist was polite and tried her best on very short notice to even make the place habitable.

We left the hotel and paid to stay somewhere else shortly after arriving so this review is based on a very short visit indeed

Would not recommend to anyone wanting comfort. I do not mean to offend anyone with this review as I'm sure many have enjoyed their stay here and I'm pleased you did.

Kind regards
