Staff were lovely, rooms were spotless and tasteful, restaurant was great - it's a really great base for a week's holiday. My Mum can't go up and down steps and this was one of the few beach side hotels that was genuinely step free all the way down to the water. Unfortunately she fell ill at the second half of the holiday and the staff were great, cooking and bringing up special meals etc.
Just a couple of points - we went in September and while it was lovely and warm (26C) the autumn storms had washed great piles of rotting seaweed into the bay so it wasn't ideal to swim. They did regularly rake the private beach though. Also - as I said the hotel was ideal for those with mobility difficulties - but the town itself is very steep and full of uneven roads and steps.More
