Great place, stunning pool, fabulous hosts.
Montalbano is a very spacious place, where you can relax full swing. The hosts are very friendly, laid back and helpfull. They also sell good wines and serve marvelous dinners.

We stayed there with 2 small kids (6 years and infant) only for 3 nights since the weather was really bad, but if the weather is nice this place is just magical. There are 3 or four small houses on the property with amazing gardens, swimming pool and lots of play area for the kids. We also had dinner one night and the food was very good, as well as the service. Approximately 60 EUR for 3 people. Daniela the owner took great care of us. Great shopping in the area as well.
With a good weather forecast, this is the place to be in Tuscany.

We stayed at this agriturismo for three days in mid-February during our kids' school break. It was one of the most marvelous agriturismos we've ever experienced. The property is chock full of farm experiences, from horses to goats to chickens and everything in between. The landscape is breathtaking, the air is fresh and crisp, and you almost forget you have to ever go back to civilization. The kids enjoyed playing on the playground and around the property while we could relax and enjoy a glass of the farm's excellent chianti or simply read a book. The dinners each evening were among the best we've ever had in Italy, and we've lived here for a few years. The kitchen had nearly all the items you'd need to prepare small meals or snacks. The owners, Luciano and Daniela, were amazingly accommodating, and we were so lucky to have them so helpful. They helped us on a few occasions with directions and suggestions for day trips around the region. Of course, being February, the pool was closed, but the pool area looks very inviting, and we'd like to come back sometime when it will be open and the kids can enjoy a day of swimming. Try the farm, you won't be disappointed.
