My husband and I stayed for five days and nights in early April 2017 at Locanda Ilune, which is well located near beautiful Pitigliano, and close to many other scenic and historic Tuscan hill towns. It was an absolutely lovely experience at Locanda Ilune. The owners/hosts, Susanna and Giovanni, were extremely kind and helpful. They made wonderful breakfasts and an outstanding gourmet dinner. They have excellent knowledge of the area and made many great recommendations for day outings. Their property, including the inn, guest rooms, and gardens, is gorgeous. It is an oasis of peace, tranquillity and beauty. Grazie mille!

Fabulous stay, the room was super-comfortable, the setting was lovely, with roses in bloom everywhere, and in vases inside. The breakfasts were outrageous - delicious quiches, homemade yogurt, cheeses, breads and baked goods. The hosts were very helpful with lots of suggestions about what to visit in the area.

My wife and I had such a great time at Locanda Ilune. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, almost too good, with freshly baked bread, coffee and jams.
We really enjoyed Pitigliano and the owner was a wealth of information about places to see and other Agriturismos to visit in the area.
The home is located on an olive orchard and the views are incredible from the upstairs rooms.
Highly recommended. It was a highlight in our trip to Italy.

This is a beautiful and serene B&B very close to many charming hilltop towns. Our stay here was delightful.
Giovanni and Susana are lovely hosts, The grounds and inn are peaceful. The breakfast was delicious and everything was just perfect. Room was clean and well kept.I loved the candles at night and soft music which added a special ambiance. Overall, this inn was perfect for our needs.

We were lucky to get two rooms for two couples as a last minute decision to visit the area. We were upstairs in lovely, creatively decorated rooms with views of the countryside. The garden, lovingly tended, was just beginning the spring bloom--a peaceful place to spend an hour listening to birds sing.
Giovanni welcomed us and gave us books on the area and recommendations for a hike and also reserved a restaurant for us.
The breakfast would be the best I have had in eight years in Italy. Not just usual cornettos (croissants) and sweet cakes, but a freshly cooked frittata, choices of bread, salami, cheese, cereal, juice and fruit. All delicious.
This is a very quiet and tranquil atmosphere and one could sit for quite a while in the dining room or reception area and observe all the interesting items displayed. Fresh flowers from the garden abound. The best was very comfortable, lots of hot water, nice large towels and all very clean. I would return there in a heartbeat if traveling to the area again.
Just FYI there is no swimming pool if wanting one in the hot summertime, but local community pool, filled from hot springs is nearby.

Room Tip: Only four rooms, but top floor probably has better views.
