“Great stay at Benasque”
Reviewed 15 April 2012

We went last eastern to ski at Cerler ski resort and we decided to stay at Ciria hotel reading some other reviews and because the price seemed appropiate. The hotel is refurbish. The rooms and bathrooms are new, modern, clean an quite stylish.
The buffet breakfast was really good.
The staff was very nice, ready to help out at any time. The location is also great, at the center of the village and 4 km from the resort.
Hotel restaurant is quite famous as well, it worth a visit.
If we go back to Benasque again, we would repeat for sure.

We stayed two nights using the hotel as a base camp for a Chamois hunt. Owners and staff could not be more accomodating. They even sent a packed lunch for our all day treks. Decor is very warm in the bar area as well as the restaurant. Many game items on the menu, my favorite was roe buck with a wonderful mushroom sauce and surrounded by 6 morel mushrooms. The morels alone were worth the price of the entree. WOW!

Have stayed for a week six years running. Have previously had a standard room which has been well apppointed and very comfortable, but this year had a junior suite - more spacious, with sitting area and large bathroom with hydromassage bath. Both breakfast and dinner are very good; good choice for all courses of the half board menu, and an excellent a la carte menu including a number of local game specialities. The staff are friendly and efficient, with good English spoken at reception and some in the dining room - menus are available in English. The hotel is located in the old part of Benasque which is being pedestrianised, but you can park outside to unload and can drive to the hotel car park or garage at the rear. Benasque is a quiet mountan village (at least in summer; can't say about winter when skiers are around), but is large enough to have a range of shops. An excellent centre for mountain walking.

Room Tip: Standard rooms are a bit small; junior suites are more spacious and worth the extra if you can affor...

This is a very good hotel!

The rooms are nice and very well kept (a bit on the small side though). The food is excellent, both breakfast and dinner with a huge selection of quality foods, If staying, we recommend going for half board, rather than "shopping around". But best of all - the service, both efficient and friendly to the point of feeling one is among friends.

In addition one has Benasque, a very nice place to stay

We have now stayed in Ciria four times while walking in the beautuful and dramatic high Pyrenees. We hope to be able to come here again

Stayed there 2 nights on a family trip to Spain.
Had a duplex (asked specifically for this type of room).
Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable and breakfast was great, the best breakfat of all the hotels where we'd stayed up to this point in our Spain trip.
Recommended!

Found a good rate online; price includes a wonderful breakfast spread to load up before skiing. Clean, comfortable, updated rooms with small patio/deck; free wifi, great staff, nice bar with excellent attached restaurant; located right in town with some parking spots behind hotel if free street parking is taken
