Make cruelty free dining more inclusive please

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Sep 1, 2024
The Pavilion at Heacham Manor is now a super dog friendly eatery.
Unfortunately we looked through the menus given to us and noticed all dishes contained meat..... We only eat cruelty free food.
We asked the server if they had any vegan dishes and she said they had a different menu with vegan choices on and gave us one. Between 4 people..... Why aren't the cruelty free dishes all included on the main menu so it's more inclusive? This would eliminate the uncomfortable situation when out dining that we experienced.
Come on Heacham Manor pop it all together please.
We very much enjoyed the spinach and lentil pie it was delicious.
Date of stay: August 2024
Room Tip: You unfortunately have to ask for another menu with cruelty free options on, it is not given...

We had a lovely stay. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We requested an extension lead, new hair dryer, another pillow and an iron - all were provided quickly, which was so appreciated. Everyone was more than happy to help - thank you!

My husband and I had a lovely one night stay here after visiting Sandringham. On arrival we booked an evening meal in the Mulberry restaurant and we had a guided tour of the wellness centre which was lovely. Our room no 4 was lovely and spacious with a nice big bathroom with a bath and shower. After making ourselves familiar with the hotel we decided to walk across the golf course to Heacham which was very pleasant. On returning to the hotel we had a drink at the sport's bar overlooking the golf course which was very pleasant. Before dinner we sat outside the bar Hotel with equally lovely views. Our dinner in the restaurant was very nice and the location in the conservatory was georgous with pink and green decor! We had a good night's sleep in a comfy bed followed by a very nice powerful shower. The breakfast in the Mulberry was enjoyable and along with all the staff from receptionists to waiting staff this hotel was a lovely place to stay. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel to future guests. I have no hesitation recommending this lovely hotel to future guests. We'd love to return in the near future. Thank you.

Room tip: The facilities at Searles Holiday Park can be used by guests of the hotel and is only about 20 minutes walk away across the golf course.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. The room was very nice with a large bathroom. Bed was a bit hard and quilt heavy for a warm night but apart from that it was fine. Lovely meal in the Mulberry restaurant and excellent breakfast. Would recommend.

My wife and I (retired couple) have just returned from a one night stay at Heacham Manor Hotel. Our room was in the Lavender Cottage "block", it was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.
Because we had earlier in the day enjoyed afternoon tea at Sandringham we did not really want much dinner. Instead we chose to work off our afternoon tea by walking through the golf course and Searles Holiday camp onto the promenade at Hunstanton. This was a pleasant 20-25 minute walk.

On walking back later that evening we called into the hotel's Pavilions sports bar for a nightcap. The bar was quite quiet and we enjoyed a very pleasant glass of wine before retiring for the night.

I had seen a few negative reviews about the breakfast at the hotel and so was slightly anxious about breakfast the next morning. I needn't have worried as it was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had for sometime. There were sufficient numbers of staff on duty and service was prompt and friendly. The cooked breakfast was really nice, it made a change to have a hot freshly cooked to order breakfast compared to the "barely warm" food found so commonly found at buffet style breakfasts. We plan to visit the hotel again at some future time. Thank you.

It did not stop giving from the 7th par 3 over the lake to lots of wide fairways and lovely consistent greens , a real hidden gem , green keepers have done a lovely job keeping this course in lovely condition , very reasonable to play , pro shop staff were lovely , and very helpful, bar is well stocked food lovely

Room tip: Blue tees very long yellows great for the lesser golfer
