My Wife and I had booked the Landmark Motel in New Plymouth for two nights in November 2017, on arrival we found they had messed up the booking and said they had no rooms and all the other Motels in New Plymouth were full due a conference in the City.
After a lot of messing around with and arguments with the lady owner of the Motel (the worst I have ever encountered ANYWHERE in the world), her husband contacted the owners at the Amity so we headed back there.
It turned out to be a blessing in disguise as we found ourselves at a better motel with a superb view and the owners were a delight, welcoming us.
The motel has lovely grounds and the room we stayed was superb, newly refurbished, comfortable and clean.
The motel has easy access via car to Mount Taranki.
This soon put the unpleasantness of the Landmark Motel to a distant memory.
Thank you so much and sorry for the late review.More
