My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved our stay!
When we saw it from the outside we thought it may be a small place but once you get inside, it's a pretty big space. We stayed in room 4 which was right in front as soon as you enter. The room was spacious enough and the toilet was made as an en-suite. The shower was an enclosed area within the room, it didn't bother us much.
What makes this place great is the breakfast and the hosts. Doug and Diana and wonderful people and they made us feel extremely comfortable. They did their best to answer all our questions (it was out first trip up there) and gave some great recommendations for places to eat at and visit. Our morning breakfast were a great place to interact with the other people staying at the inn and we would end up spending over an hour just chatting with them. Also, Diana has got the be one of the best home cooks I've come across, she makes 3 different kinds of bread fresh, daily! She will ask you what you would like the night before and will have it ready at your preferred time. My husband and I together tried the waffle (topped with strawberry and whip cream), scrambled eggs (with cheese and chives), veggie omelette, sausages, muffins(a different one everyday) and HOMEMADE JAMS!!! The jam was so good that I mentioned to Diana I wished she would sell them and just as we were leaving she hands me a bottle of the strawberry rhubarb jam and two muffins for our journey.
They also recommended some great places to see for our upcoming west-coast trip! We will definitely be back here, and not just for the vistas but also the wonderful hosts. :)
