We stayed here on our travels through Germany. A typical provincial German hotel. Probably a 3.5 mark would be fairer than 3, but not 4. The room was extremely sparse but also very clean. The owner was very friendly indeed. Breakfast was very good & plentiful. At €98 for a double room it’s not cheap. This is a typical price for these types of places.

We booked here because of the location in the picturesque marketplace and because it is a member of the Bed + Bike association.
We had a comfortable double room – by choice, upstairs (warning: the lift only goes to the first floor).
Breakfast was good. We liked the fact that for a change it was not a buffet but served personally by the boss.
The latter was most friendly and helpful - a keen cyclist himself, he had plenty of tips for the visitors.
Sehr freundlich, familien betrieb. We were attending the Karnival and it was perfectly located. Would highly recommend. Clean quiet and reasonably priced. And such s beautiful city. I will gladly return.
