The hotel is comprised of several single-storey buildings set at intervals along an increasingly steep stoney track. Each building has a small parking area juxtaposed. The lighting has been very well thought out: outside, proper street lamps at just the right intervals along the track that led to our accommodation, and in the bedrooms, the ceiling lights were camouflaged so that one can get up for the loo at night without significantly disturbing one's partner. We had a wonderful, expansive view from our room terraces. Amazing bathrooms also - huge shower cubicles where you could easily fit in 3 people! The swimming pool down by the main building is gorgeous and well appointed with sun loungers. And last but not least, there were properly labelled recycling bins outside our accommodation - and people were actually using them correctly!
The breakfast choice was neither interesting nor tasty, and the one time we had our supper at the hotel, it was also pretty dull. My guess is that because the hotel is some distance away from the nearest town, Noto, people often opt to stay on site for dinner to avoid driving back after consuming alcohol - but this does not excuse the hotel from offering a rather poor, limited choice of hot food. I would suggest that they offer a tasty cold spread instead. The wifi also failed during our stay.More
