Tucked away in this enchanting village, on a cold weekend this little place was welcoming with it's central fireplace and tables close together but not too close. We loved the atmosphere and were pleased with our delicious lunch, and cosy atmosphere. The proprietors, who are from Bolzano in the north, came to the Maremma and have brought with them the tradition of bollito misto, as well as a good menu of local cooking. An exceptional aquacotta for example, and wild boar. We were 6 in all and were able to feel comfortable having our lovely lunch until after 4 o'clock Campagnatico is a real find for anyone who loves eating well at every level.
