My husband and I stayed here along with several other couples in order to attend our friends wedding at a nearby estate. Oasi looks very unassuming from the outside, but once inside the apartments are spacious, immaculately clean with all the amenities you could need - small kitchen - well equipped, seating area, very comfortable large bed and lovely bathroom with the shower room separate from the sink area - so there is ample room. Right next door is the local bar and restaurant, which again appears unassuming but once you walk through the bar there is a fabulous garden area to eat out in with a large wood burning oven and grill so you can watch the chefs at work. I am vegetarian, but even I was impressed by the huge steaks that were being served to the other customers to rave reviews (there was also a varied selection of excellent food for veggies in the event readers are concerned that "grill" means "no veggies allowed"). The oasi is only half an hour from Siena and is right in the heart of the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
And in addition to all of this, the hotel manager, Guiseppe, is just one in a million. With such an onslaught of guests with various demands, needing information, spilling wine on pristine sheets just as we arrived (that was us), one might forgive a manager for being a little stressed. Not Guiseppe. Nothing was too much trouble. He ensured all of us had what we needed, gave us tons of information on getting to and back from the venue, I believe he even made a trip to the wedding venue to make sure we were all okay . All this was done with a broad smile and we all felt that he deserved a special mention.
Where else in the heart of Tuscany can you get a studio apartment with all of the above at your fingertips for £60 a night?
We would return in an instant and stay way longer than 2 nights. A perfect base to explore central Tuscany by car.

Room Tip: Book a studio or if travelling with friends or children, 2 bedroom apartments are available.

We had a well-laid out apartment with 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed in the sitting room. It was clean and well-appointed. Giuseppe's welcome and help during our stay was second to none. The restaurant was excellent with a huge choice and was good value. Thank you Giuseppe!

The rooms are ridiculously large and in a classically clean Tuscan style. The location is perfect if you have a car and you want to explore Chianti, the vineyard of Italy. However, we wouldn't have known any of this without the fantastic host, Giuseppe. He spoke English wonderfully, and he seemed incredibly happy to assist his guests. With his cheerful assistance --and without us asking-- we had an entire itinerary for all of Siena and Chianti and directions to our next destination.

Also, the restaurant beside the hotel is fantastic. It serves the best pizza thus far, outranking Venice, Sorrento, and even Firenze. Try the Achile pizza...pear, mozzarella, honey, and sage. Mind-blowing!

The only [slight] disappointment was the bed. It was a decent bed, but a bit too firm for our taste. However, with a full stomach and happy mind, we fell asleep easily!

This place is ideal if you intend to visit Tuscany and travel around by car. It is located in a very quiet and peaceful area and is just a few minutes of driving away from lovely places such as Siena, Montalcino and San Gimignano.

The staff, namely, Giuseppe speaks very good English and was very helpful at all times. The rooms are spacious, newly renovated and clean. Parking is really not a problem. Excellent value for money.
