We booked a table here for the evening of our 31st wedding anniversary while staying at the nearby Pestana Viking. I have to say everything was absolutely delicious and the service very good. We enjoyed starters of prawn cocktail and salmon, mains of seafood risotto and lasagne, finishing with a chocolate mousse and a zagablione. The whole lot was washed down with a fantastic bottle of traditional Portuguese vino verde.
We also enjoyed lunch here on Sunday before our airport transfer for our flight home. On this occasion we each had a Hawaiian pizza. We agreed these were the best pizzas we have ever eaten. We then shared a generous portion of tiramisu which was as light as a cloud and a dessert I would highly recommend. Susan was very good and stuck to water but I had a couple of generous glasses of the house rose which was excellent. Thank you Belmondo for helping make our holiday one to remember.

Everything from start to finish was excellent. The bruschetta was amazing, the caprese salad was delicious (best tomatoes at any place in Portugal) and the risotto dishes were memorable, especially the asparagus special. Dessert and wine rounded out the meal.

Our server was so friendly and helpful and the live music lent a grand atmosphere to our meal! It was memorable and I will recommend it to anyone traveling nearby!
