perfect location for exploring Galician coast...hotel set overlooking Nanin Playa...with access to the secluded and uncrowned uncommercialised beach below...an added bonus were the pods of dolphins that swam back and forth in the bay within a few of a zoom lens. Hotel staff were very attentive and friendly...plentiful breakfast and reasonably priced meals...daily use of spa was also available for one hour each guest....although didn't try this too beautiful to be indoors...pleasant pool terrace outside and in September plenty of sun loungers, including a lower terrace directly above the beach . 20 minutes walk into the town where there are numerous buzzing very reasonably priced tapas bars and restaurants and good range of shops and marina . What a place...and the coastline nearby is stunning !

Room tip: book a sea view room ...won't be disappointed

A great hotel with a picturesque beachfront setting and lovely pool. Staff are helpful and friendly. A nice stroll along the coast to reach the main town of sanxenxo and the delightful areas beach a short drive away. We stayed in the 2 bed appartment which was clean and a good size for the 4 of us. The only slight down side was the road noise, but thats because we live in a cul de sac with no traffic so hearing cars pass by was not something we're used to. In hindsight we should have requested a beach view in advance. Would definitely recommend this place

This hotel is a little way out of Sanxenxo town(about 20min walk), but situated right on a lovely beach. The location is perfect, lovely pool area, always sufficient loungers, nice views across the bay. The rooms are clean & adequate, but it's a shame you can't see the sea while sitting on the balcony, no patio chairs provided either. Breakfast was fairly basic too, but adequate & as expected for 3* hotel. The staff however were delightful, always ready to help, would definitely recommend this place.

We came here after a poor experience of a 5 star hotel in La Coruna with high expectations (and a bit of trepidation), based on its TA and Booking com reviews. We were absolutely NOT disappointed. It is a fantastic, albeit bijou, (which makes it all the more special) gem of a hotel.
It's right on the beach with its own access.
Staff are all brilliant.
Rooms are lovely and clean; ok they are a bit compact and the sea view only happens when standing up as the balcony wall is over 4 foot high, but the view is stunning, even if you have to stand up for it...(although you can also experience it when sitting on mats on the end of the bed.....(don't ask!) The hotel is split into two floors of apartments (self careering an option) and habitaciones (rooms). Not much difference in price - apartments better for families I guess.
We were the only Brits there, everybody else was Spanish and Portuguese-all very friendly.
The pool is clean, not heated but warm in comparison to the Atlantic sea even in June, and well maintained. Lovely poolside toilets.
No shortage of loungers or shade, or of umbrellas. Beautiful beachfront verandah with pergolas overlooking the sea...
Staff are all lovely although Spanglish is required...but it's fun...
Breakfast buffet is the usual but hot food, omelettes etc are free and available to order - just ask.
Spa is a bonus..
Secure cool underground garage for 6 euros a night, or hot out front / roadside parking for free..your choice..
I can't understand how or why a rating system only makes it a 3 star, the overall customer experience makes you feel 5 star..the size of rooms and limited breakfast / dining options probably bring it down, in my view to 4...
Slight downside is that it is a bit of a trek into Sanxenxo beachfront where the shops, bars and restaurants are. It took us 20 - 25 minutes which is a bit much in the heat of the day or after an evening meal....car parking in Sanxenxo is not easy either, although if you go to the Mercadona or Carrefour supermarkets they have free parking for customers...
We went exploring the beaches by car, O Grove has a fantastic choice and the coastline all around is just 'beach upon beach' - or 'beach city!' And every one a winner......
We saw loads of lovely hotels around, unspoilt-no mega high rise all inclusive so in sight-so loads to choose from; but we did'nt see any quite as nice as this one.
We loved it - real unspoilt Galicia in real unspoilt Spain amongst the Spanish.....Bueno.
Hope this helps you make your choice of where to stay in this lovely part of Spain - we'd recommend it and would certainly come again.

The hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a great location for exploring Galacia. The indoor spa was an added bonus. Our apartment had a balcony and sea view and was very spacious for just the two of us. Double bedroom, lounge diner, kitchenette and fully equipped bathroom. Shame we had to leave early but the hotel staff were amazing when we had to check out.

Room tip: Go for the sea view with balcony.
