I can't say enough about the total Riant experience: since I'm a Dutch Warmblood fanatic, my friends brought me to this pristine stable to mingle with the horses and ask a few questions of the staff. We had no idea that a rustic yet elegant restaurant is part of the facility, one that overlooks the indoor arena and combines intimate views of beautiful horse flesh with high quality cuisine. I had the warm goat cheese salad, my friends the chicken salad. A perfect chardonnay for me and herbal teas (presented with fresh greens within) for them. Bread basket with choice slices of different breads, sweet butter. While relaxing over our meal, we watched the horses kicking up their heels, rolling, ect -- so wonderful. Nice background music. Rustic hewn wood interior belies the first rate menu. If in the area, highly recommend Foyer Riant even if one is not a horse lover. Country setting is refreshing after Amsterdam!
