We've stayed five days here. Very pleased to be here. The staff is very helpful and smiling, they are like a family. The villas are traditional Turkish houses. Interior design is very nice. Swimming pool and seaside is awesome. That is one of the cleanest Aegean seasides of Turkey. Food variety and taste is very good. We hope to come to Angora Beach Resort again and again...

Room tip: All the rooms are nice, clean and quiet...

This is the first time we've done all inclusive and were slightly apprehensive. We went mid-October and were very lucky with the weather; not too hot and only one poor day, our last. I can't praise the hotel enough. The rooms were clean, cosy and full of Turkish character. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and a pleasure to hang out in. The food was delicious so we ate far too much. The staff were very friendly and polite. The reception staff were particularly helpful and efficient. The large pool was clean and the beach, though a mixture of pebble and sand, peaceful. There is a long pontoon provided too. I swam in the sea every day.
It is quite isolated so if you want to go to shops and restaurants within walking distance, it's not for you. However it was perfect for us and we hired a car for a few days to visit Ephesus (fabulous but go early) and explore the region. The hotel will also organise trips and we went on a lovely boat trip.
The hotel was full of Germans who we found pleasant and friendly. There is a paddling pool for children, slides and crazy golf. Next year they plan to extend the lounge area and by the winter 2016, they will have an indoor pool.
We were so impressed that we plan to return with family and grandchildren. It was just what we needed to recharge batteries!

One of the best hotels we have ever been to (on average 5 journeys a year). Nice and efficient service. Very helpful staff at the reception. The rooms are large and clean. Beautiful garden, great pool, nice beach and sea. The hotel is very calm with limited number of entertainment (if any, then rather quiet and in a good style). Fantastic food, with great morning service (freshly made pancakes, omelets etc), lunch and dinner changed all the time with the great choice of local products (all self-made) and fresh vegetables and fruits. Amazing sweets.
Definitely worth going, we spent 3 great weeks there with friends (we had a shared room) and children.
We hired car at the airport so could easily see all the attractions around thus driving in Turkey was a challenge.

First it is worth mentioning that we have been there in last week of April and first week of May, i.e. Season did not begin yet, nature was in spring and it was beautifully blossoming and weather was unstable. We had some days with very nice weather and some other days of storm. Hotel is quiet and has a beautiful garden with all sorts of trees and plants. It has also ponds with frogs in them. These are sweet and would add to the feeling of proximity to nature, especially when combined with cricket sounds. However, they might get pretty loud in the night if you keep your windows open. Taking earplugs with you might be a wise precaution. Food in restaurant is very nice and with a nice mix of Turkish and European food in the buffet that was changing everyday. Staff in restaurant and reception are very friendly and would do their best to make one feel cozy. Still this was not 100% achievable as beds in the rooms (rooms that are very nicely decorated in traditional turkish style with wood in the ceiling) were horrible. We had to change room 2 times (I.e. tried 3 rooms) and still were not able to find a comfortable bed. This is why we were sometimes exhausted out of lack of sleep.... Seemingly this did not bother other people though! The hotel itself is quiet with no animation and loud music. However, I do not know this would be in the summer as there are vacation camps and vacation houses next to it. One can have nice walks on the beach as well. There is not town properly speaking nearby. There is rather a kind of town extensions along the main road with many real estate agencies and window making workshops. There are also a few simple food shops nearby and a supermarket 5km away. One can take public transport (bus and Dolmuş) to go to the next town or to the next bigger city Kuşadası. One can rent a car and do tours like to Ephesus, Selçuk and Dilek national park and even Izmir. Most guests were German, one French family and one British one. I would prefer more variety in the nationally of the guests, but maybe you would like it rather exactly like this! Last recommendation is to take a room in the top floor (the hotel consists of chalets, each containing 4 rooms, 2 ground floor, and 2 second floor) as you might get more visits or rather invasion by ants if you happen to have something sweet in your bag or pocket.

We were looking for a hotel in this region as we have many friends there. It is not a very popular tourist destination but there are many summer houses due to its proximity to İzmir.
The choices are limited we opted for Angora without actually knowing what to expect.
The place seems like it was built as a summer house complex then converted into a resort. There are about 20-30 villa style buildings with each having 4 rooms (2 bottom, 2 upper floor)
We were suprised that the hotel is full of germans, french and polish (as I mentioned it is not a popular-well known tourist destination.
Rooms are large with great woodwork on ceiling , large beds, a sitting corner with couch and nice bathroom with great tiles and large shower. The grounds are nice but limited. There is a restorant area, smallish pool area and the beach. Pool is quite nice but since the beahc is bit stoney, most of teh guetss prefer the pool and it could have been little larger. They could easily build another pool (may be an adult pool) somewhere in the complex.
Food was much better then expected. I am bit unsure when it comes to All inclusive hotels as it can be a disaster. But we were happily suprised with the food quality, quantity and the variety. But the desert buffet could be better.
Dont expect much of a service, one needs to pick up all the drinks himself. we didnt mind as we knew it wasnt a luxury resort or smthng.
Our only complain was about the number of sunbeds around the pool. Germans love getting up early and putting their towels on the sunbeds, then go to breakfast so it is impossible to find a sunbed around the pool after 9. There is actually a space, not sure why they dont put more seeing that everyone wants to park around the pool :)

Room tip: rather choose a room close to the pool and restaurant
