This little spot had been on our hit list for quite some time and it was well worth the wait.
Situated out in a country atmosphere with plenty of indoor / outdoor seating its the sort of place that invites you to linger. There is a neat outdoor bar and they brew their own ale which husband gave a " pretty good" thumbs up to, home made ginger beer and lemonade are also on the menu.
The staff are super friendly so all the boxes were ticked on arrival, then we got down to the nitty gritty, the food and ooh la la, I didn't know mussels could taste this sublime.
There is a great selection of how to enjoy these morsels so we selected the Thai coconut curry with lime and another dish of deep fried in batter. All I can say is the kitchen has mastered how to deal with these shellfish. They were melt in the mouth, super fresh and our lasting impression was this had to be the best lunch ever.
We hadn't even got out the gate and were planning to return. Well done.
