Great location on the promenade. Friendly fast service. The meat was really tasty and plentiful, the chimichurri was the best I've ever tasted. Would definitely return.

Been a few times over the last few years but tonight 20th August was not good one waiter did not seem to want to serve us amd although it is great value for money and the food is normally fantastic. Tonight was not good it took for ever to get any meat to the table and it was so far between that we gave up waiting as what did come to the table was not of the usual standard.we did try to mention this but it didn't make any difference will avoid for a while

Visited a few times and each time spot on, lots of choice, lots of meat!!! Yes, sometimes you need to wait a while between each serve, but the food is delicious and waiters are very nice would recommend and be down there again soon

It does what it says on the tin: all you can eat meat feast for 12,90 euros! We were part of a group of 14 people for lunch; it started at 2.00pm and finished at 5.00pm!
To start, the table is laid with knives and forks and meat tongs, the purpose of which soon becomes apparent. The table was also supplied with (and topped up regularly with) bowls of rice, beans, chips, potato salad, green salad, and bowls of chilli sauce. These can be either a starter or as a regular accompaniment to the BBQ meats which soon start to arrive and continue to come at about 15 minute intervals. They come on the swords on which they had been cooked: first some sausages, then chicken thighs. You quickly learn that the meat tongs are to catch your meat as it comes off the BBQ. Then came a succession of meats; beef, pork, chicken, lamb with more sausages wrapped in bacon; all in all we didn't count but probably a dozen or so different meats, wonderful for carnivores.
My wife was one of three who did not eat meat; she had fish and declared that the dorada was the best she had eaten for some time. Another person just had a huge salad so, although this restaurant specialises on meat BBQ, it does cater for non-meat eaters.
The dessert was a real surprise, barbecued whole pineapple, delicious! We would have liked to have been offered second helpings of that.
Our only criticism is that, given the nature of the food, linen napkins would have been better that the thin paper ones which lasted no time at all.

Unfortunately lightning doesn't strike twice, stumbled across another Amazonas BBQ and after loving the one in Nerja so much we thought it would be just as good (just so you know if you don't know the area it has similar restaurants either side)

Now it could have been the time we went and perhaps they weren't set up yet as we were the only customers, around 18:30 some of the meat seemed like it was warmed up, the beef which was amazing at the Nerja branch was very well done and most other meats were fatty / end of the skewer, on a plus note the side dishes were all fresh and the lovely waiter made sure we kept a good supply of them

Shame really as had very high hopes for the meal :(

I just would like to add that the waiter and chef were both lovely people and did make you feel welcome
