Best duck confit i've ever had! We were certainly the only non french eating there that night but between my poor french, google translate, and their broken english it wasn't a problem. Had the menu terroir which included: foi gras terrine and torchon starter, excellent salad with gizzard and duck ham, duck confit, cabceau cheese, AND dessert. so much food for 34 euro each! nice wine choices with a much lower markup than in town restaurants. total for two with 50cl wine, four aperitifs was 99.5 euro. lovely large patio.

Ate here one evening, had very plain food and it was really good. Soup, omelette with salad and dessert with wine and coffee. It was served quickly and the staff coped with our large party without fuss.

This is truly a local French restaurant. We were certainly the only non-French speaking people eating there. They had no English menus and the wait staff could not help us with the menu. We did however have a lovely young French couple sitting next to us who helped us work out the nightly fixed price special menu. The wait staff were friendly throughout the meal and service was good. The price for dinner was quite reasonable. 3 course dinner with wine was $85 for two.
Duck is prominent on the menu and the portions are large. We couldn't finish our meal although everything was good. This would not be a good choice for vegetarians .

Stayed in a village near here and was advised by the hotel owner to try this restaurant, Well we wrre not dissapointed, we had the set meal for 21 euro, main course I chose pancake with cheese ehich was a meal in its self, then I had the steak in brown Ale which I didnt like it tasted ad if they had put sugar instead of Salt, but the veggies were good. The desert was icecrean with Cream

Interesting and varied food and wine for five nights, on three nights we were able to enjoy eating outside. Staff friendly and managed our large group so well.
