The hotel is by the beach allright but it is also TOO near of the ugly and noisy city area.

You can't go sea swimming safely due to dozens of kite surfers.

There is no view of the sea in any of the rooms and the air conditioning system is very noisy.

The service is very disappointing.

As Brazilian i will write this review in English to let everyone know that this is the worst hotel to stay in this area. The manager Janise is a terrible professional and she will not help you in anything you need. I´ve reach the hotel and found a totally different room from the pictures i saw in the website. Our bad was dirty as well as the floor of entire room. The AC was not working and although the Hotel was empty they refused to move us to another room. We asked for our money back and moved 100mts to a great hotel - Kariri Hotel is just a few steps from this place and you will find a real hotel with a wonderful pool, good service and a great restaurant.

In the morning, you get out from your room, get down 1 flight of stairs and you find the swimming pool, next to it is the morning breakfast.
Another flight of stairs and you land on the beach... all this 50m to cumbuco center.
Can the location be any better?
Food is good, chill area ok, showers to wash your kite gear.
Cons: The price could be a bit friendlier.

We have on several ocations visited this hotel. The location is nice, and the hotel is nice enough. The service is slow, and not very welcomming. The beer is miracolously always served warm, and will only get warmer as they fail to provide beer cooler. On the last occation the room was never finished, and after being promised too many times that the room will be ready in 15 minutes, we decided to go somewhere else (after waiting 3 hours - with no excuse from the staff).

We went to Cumbuco due to it is a kite surfers paradise and it is a very safety, non massive brazilian destination.

First night we stayed at Pousada Paiagua. Nice, but very dirty. Then, we searched for another hotel and we found the beautiful Eco Paradise Hotel. It seemed more luxury, more services and it was situated just in front of the beach.

This hotel is too expensive for the services they really provide. Staff do not speack anothe language than Portuguese and most of them are not very kind (specially welcome desk staff). Sauna does not work, rooms are very big (little flats with fridge) but they are not nice, TV did not work, and the most important thing is that this hotel is full of mosquitos, so ask as soon as possible for a mosquito net and buy everithing you can against mosquitos. Internet is expensive and as slow as a turtle. And I forgot to write about the noise at night...

Possitive marks are: If you are a kiter you won´t have any problems with your kite. The swiming pool is great and food is cheap and very good. You will find a lot of little restaurants near the hotel and beaches are really incredible. And the hotel beach is fantastic for kite surfing practice.
And this hotel is very clean.
