Located right across from the Lighthouse in Ponce Inlet, this restaurant is perfect to stop for food, drinks, and dessert! We loved everything we ate, including fried pickles, shrimp tacos, coconut shrimp, chicken wrap, and kids marinara pasta which my 2-year old shoveled in with a big messy grin. Both the homemade BBQ chips and French fries were amazing, it's a toss-up which is better, so order both. We got a box just to take the leftover chips home because they were too good to throw away! We ordered all three pies, my husband loved the key lime pie, he wouldn't stop raving about it. The chocolate pie and peanut butter pie were also really good. Loved the casual, relaxed atmosphere!

We went with another couple for lunch on a Thursday. The parking area is somewhat limited. We had about a twenty minute wait and were seated at an outside table with a limited view of the water. There were only a few tables available by the water. The service was slow. I had the fish Rueben with cod which was very good. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered.

The restaurant is on the water and has a great atmosphere for enjoying a surf and turf burger with a margarita.

We'd been wanting to check out the Ponce Inlet lighthouse for several months and arrived hungry mid-afternoon. Fortunately Hidden Treasures is directly across the street from Lighthouse Park, so we were able to kill two birds ...

We had no expectations, except that we'd seen Hidden Treasure's number one ranking on TripAdvisor. We loved the location, overlooking the Halifax River just north of the inlet. A sunny 75 degree afternoon was perfect for dining on the very large, canvas-covered wooden deck.

Our server, Savannah, was fabulous. Very cheerful, conversational, efficient. She checked on us regularly to ensure we had the ultimate dining experience.

We decided on the Tuesday special - fish and chips @ $8.99. The fish was cod, fried to perfection. We chose sides of chili (which was fantastic), fries (excellent), and a side salad, which was fresh and crisp.

I was impressed with how hot the food came out. So often we get lukewarm meals at restaurants when the server neglects to bring it out right away. Not so with Savannah. Our food arrived almost too hot to eat.

I love the fact that everything is prepared fresh. They don't serve processed food here, so don't expect fast food. We enjoyed watching lazy pelicans preening on dock posts at the edge of the water while awaiting our meals.

We decided on a slice of key lime pie for dessert @ $3.99 - literally the best key lime pie I've ever eaten. You can buy a whole pie, but you have to order a day in advance because even the pies are prepared fresh.

My only suggestion for improvement would be to serve real whipping cream with the pie instead of the Kool Whip kind. And maybe add a little more pickle relish in the tartar sauce. We will definitely dine again at Hidden Treasure.
