I was very happy with this hotel as a home base in Mazunte. The view is stunning. Pool area is pleasant. They serve breakfast til 12 then you can order food/drinks at the pool til 6. Room (#2) was comfortable and the balcony was a real highlight - private, lots of plants and birds, great ocean view. Mini fridge and microwave were convenient. Location between Mazunte and San Agustinillo is nice that you can easily explore both on foot. Stairs down to the San Agustinillo beach are convent (but there’s a lot of them!). We had a rental car - there are ~5 parking spaces on the property. The driveway is steep and spaces a bit tight but the staff will help you move your car in and out if needed. Staff was helpful and friendly, as were the resident dogs!

10/10! I can’t say enough about Casa Pan de Miel. It has the best location between Mazunte and San Augustinillo where you can see all 4 bays, Playa Elefante and Punta Cometa and everything is walkable. The views are spectacular and you can see whales daily from the pool deck. There’s a private stair access to the calm waters below for swimming. Warning: the steps are steep to the beach and down the driveway into town. Great workout rewarded with delicious meals and cold drinks along the water. Matteo and Sophia, the managers, are so attentive and gracious. I will be dreaming about those views until we return.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Casa Pan de Miel. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly and hospitable, the views breathtaking, the location ideal and the infinity pool and private beach access unbeatable. Very easy to spend en entire day lounging in the sunshine.
