Room was great with all amenities provided. However, TV channels are mostly in Chinese so nothing much to watch there.

Location is great as well. About 20 minutes walk to the town with restaurants and cafes.

Housekeeping and room service staff had great and consistent service however, staff at the front desk, not so much.

They seem bored most of the time and not very interested in helping.

Breakfast is included however the variety needs to be more. Currently it's mainly local dishes and probably needs some improvement on the food as well.

Foot massage in the hotel was not too bad as well

A couple of things to note, anyone can have access to the lift so security is not really good here.

And if you put out a Do Not Disturb sign on your room, it means absolutely nothing to them. The doorbell doesn't work but it does not stop them from knocking on your door.

My room had the DND sign on all the time however, it didn't stop housekeeping from knocking every single morning at 8am and waking me up from my sleep to ask if I need housekeeping to clean the room.

And also remember to lock your room door otherwise they will barge into your room!

I had a staff just coming into the room after 2 quick knocks. I was about to open it and she already opened the door.

So do take note of these few.

Cannot say much. But nothing much around hotel. At least room is comfortable. I do not understand why there is no TV at the living room. Tried the wifi, it is miserable. Disappointed that there is no bathtub in the toilet.

A decent hotel. Staying here for a month in a family room. Room is clean and reasonably maintained. The breakfast is not meeting the expectations for a tourist other than origin of china. Poor choice of selection of items. Should consider having international buffet menu. Wifi is the most disappointing thing. Speed is so poor that hotel may have to think about doing something. Staffs could also be trained with hospitality and courtesy. Overall a place where you can stay in a clean room and expect nothing else

Ah..Liuheng island..what a dreamy place (not).
Like the island, are the places to eat and sleep. And the only half-decent choice at the moment is this hotel.
The good:
It is located near the port and Cosco shipyard
Rooms are nice and big
It is relatively new, only a few years in operation
Breakfast is good
Western dishes are so-so
The chinese restaurant in 2nd floor is actually good

The bad:
Hotel staff barely speak english. They are largely indifferent to anything you say and they spend all day playing with their phones.
The rooms although new, look very worn out and never maintained
Restaurant opens only at 18:00 and closes around 20:30, so if you want lunch, forget it
Internet is as if it does not exist. You can somehow use it morning time when nobody is at the hotel, but after that forget it. Buy a 3g stick instead
Due to the number of shipyards and people coming to work, the hotel is usually fully booked.

bottom line, this is the only acceptable place to stay, with some shortcomings

This is a nice hotel in the Lieu Heng Island in China and its clients are mostly foreigners engaged with business with the shipyards of the island.

despite the fact that there is no competitor in the whole island I believe it maintains the average standards of western style hotel.

The ladies in the reception are able to speak only few English words so it is better to have a local to discuss any problem or a special request.

The restaurant in the lobby that serving the breakfast is good with adequate variety of food to cover all possible requests.

The Fish / Chinese restaurant on 2nd floor is also good provided you will have a good luck ...since you will choose via photo menu However whatever tasted was good
