Full-day Springbrook National Park Tour from the...
Ranked #2 of 12 things to do in Springbrook
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed April 4, 2018

Unfortunately attended on a wet & cloudy & foggy day which made it hard to judge it & particularly the view.

Easily accessed from 2 car parks (a small one at the walk start & a larger one below) is a short walk through a beautiful rainforest. The rainforest was it its best in the wet, glistening with water. It is very prehistoric feeling (some very old beech trees close to the path) & could esily be the setting for a movie.

The view I think would be spectacular but during our visit it was a whiteout with just the odd glimpse of nearersights through breaks in the cloud.

Nothing much at the park (only a couple of km's off the main road) - no cafe or toilet or facilities.

Will need to go back again for the view.

350m walk to see the border of QLD and NSW. It is quite an easy walk. Take your time and soak up the serenity of the rainforest. Massive trees to have your picture with. Quite a popular spot with people vying for position on the smallish viewing platform. Just be patient and be considerate of others... The view isnt going anywhere!!

My partner who has difficulties walking was able to slowly walk the 350m path (slight incline and decline parts) to the view. The deck is quite small and so we waited until a bus load of Asian Tourists were finished taking photos and left before we went on to the viewing deck as there wouldn’t have been enough room. The day was quite misty/foggy so the view not as clear as we’d hoped but still a great view with the information board on display very interesting.
