We visited with a golf group & paid $30 each for a BBQ. We were herded into the pool area and sent out back to collect food. What food? first a bowl of lettuce, then a gunky, lumpy potato salad, next a bowl of coleslaw dressing with a few vegetables hidden in the thick creamy sauce, after that a bowl of cut up baked potato (2 lots of potato?!), then the only saving grace a dish of green beans and zucchini. Then joy of the joys the BBQ meat - a bowl of thin sausages that tasted like, and had the texture of paste, there certainly was no discernible meat in them. Then the piece-de-resistance tiny chicken legs not big enough to be called drumsticks! Oh I forgot the desert - pieces of factory made cake with apple on top and a creamy substance resembling chocolate mouse. No coffee or tea. We both felt ill afterwards and eventually needed Mylanta before we could go to bed. How can they, an up-market hotel, even think that this ultra budget food is decent meal??? Everything was cheap and nasty except for the green beans!

Dear Whitehavengirl43, thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We're naturally disappointed to hear that you didn't enjoy the BBQ meal arranged for the golf group you were accompanying. Feedback is very important to us, as is the resort's reputation and we will certainly be making contact with the event organiser to check on their overall satisfaction. As always, we work with our clients to ensure we meet their needs - both in terms of budget and quality. If in your view these two important factors were not well balanced on the evening you attended, we sincerely apologise and assure you that we hold ourselves to high standards, which are validated by the regular feedback we receive.

A few days away in the Gold Coast was always likely to be memorable, with all the tourist attractions to visit, but my wife's 65th birthday was memorable as much for the wonderful surprise created by the staff of the Resort. We returned from an excursion to find the bed beautifully decorated, and a complimentary bottle of her favourite red! This was service well and truly above expectations - Well done and thanks, guys!

I couldn't fault the service, the room or the room service. A couple of little things made not give a 5 out of 5, but they are really being nit picking.

Comfy bed, hot powerful shower and clean room and a beautiful resort. It's a shame I was only staying overnight and I didn't get to try out the amenities.

We chose to stay here for one night on a stop over from Noosa. Going to the theme parks is exhausting and we didn't want to drive back to Noosa late at night.

Well from driving down the long road toward the resort we knew we had found a gem. It's a lovely resort tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast.

The room was nice if not getting on a bit in age, the bathroom was ok but again getting old. Two large beds awaited so that's good with a couple of kids.

The bar was nice for our complimentary drink with stunning views and the pool, not that we got to go in, looked great.

Highly recommend for a stay on the Gold Coast, especially if you don't want to be down town.
