Popular with the locals ... this neighbourhood cafe is child & family friendly. Plenty of space with a big verandah & back yard. They have a little offshoot ... Cranky Joe's Ugly Dumplings which does yum cha on friday nights 6-8pm. Great dumplings ... loved them.

We had a perfect breakfast with eggs benedicts and delicious ricotta pancakes.
You can sit in the sun but there's plenty of shadow as well. It looks like it is good fun for young kids.
We live locally and we'll be definitely back

Great little spot away from the hustle and bustle of Currumbin & Elanora shopping centres.

Takes a little getting used too. Unsure which coffee shop is attached to the large grounds at the back, as there are 2 quaint shop fronts side by side offering coffees.

The day I visited shop front seemed understaffed & no obvious big menu boards on display, with pricing details, had to scrounge around for the menu.

Sweets display cabinet had a small simple selection, but no clear pricing on any items in cabinet, so have to ask heaps of questions to figure out prices (esp if your on a budget like me )

Food & drinks took a while to come out but waitress was super apologetic, order got mixed up but again she was super helpful. She even bought over extra umbrella to put us in shade.

Back grassed area is great for kids. Just bring sunscreen & a hat for kids, ask for 2 bottles of water if you have a bigger group otherwise the walk back and forth & back & forth gets a bit annoying.

Ordered scrambled eggs on sourdough for $10, really yummy. No salt & pepper on tables again had to rummage around for all the basic table condiments.

As a recently opened establishment I think they’re just finding their feet in terms of basic set up stuff. In time they’ll be awesome. But it was a nice morning out & we’ll be back :)

Lovely little cafe with a trendy feel, lots of seating out the back & room for kids to play, pet friendly too! Good coffee, nice food, definitely go back.

Love the relaxed vibe of the backyard! Great staff; they are so friendly. Coffee was delicious and the mushrooms on toast were great! I'll be back again
