I went for dinner with my partner, ordered chili calamari and tofu in claypot. The food was so delicious. We went back with our family and ordered salt/pepper calamari, char kway teow, tofu in claypot, sambal belacan, special order peking duck, hor fun , chendol , ice kacang. We cannot fault any of the food we ordered, so delicious.

A must for any visitors to visit. The restaurant is clean and nice ambience. Well done to Lai and Eunice!!!

We've always loved this restaurant. Unfortunately they were forced to move out of their premises at Mermaid Waters but have moved just down the road to the Broadbeach Waters Bowls club. It's now got much more room and is always busy. They no longer have the BYO option which is a shame but the Bowls club prices are pretty good. The food is still outstanding. Great little family business.

Ive been going here for a long time, and every time the food is perfect. Some may complain about the service, people need to remember that these are multiculture restaurants and english may not be amazing but they never stuff up your order, some may think they come across as being rude, but i don't feel at all that thats an intention of theirs. This is not a 5 star dining experience, it is a nice place to go for GREAT malaysian food. The restaurant may not be all black and white and modern, but its clean, decent size and has the best malaysion on the GC!

Really poor service with no attention. No one came to take our order for ages. It was clear that they were overwhelmed but had no staff on except the "lady boss" and her teenage daughter who was clearly not interested, mature enough, or trained to work in the restaurant. When our order was finally taken, another table whose order was taken after ours was served their food first. After much delay (more than an hour), we were finally served. At no point in time did anyone come to apologise for the delay or lack of service. In fact the only time we got attention was from the lady boss when she came to our table and had the audacity to aggressively accuse me ( in front of my whole group of friends and family) of something that was a miscommunication between our table and her young daughter who finally brought out the meal (behaviour that anyone who owns and runs a restaurant should clearly not be doing). The lady boss went further to then bad mouth me and our table to another table of guests as we were leaving. Shocking behaviour. To the husband's credit, he came out to apologise for the service delay when we paid the bill, but he had no idea of the damage that had already been done by his wife. Unfortunately, we hear this kind of behaviour is not an isolated incident and she has many negative reviews on social media. The lady boss is a liability to the business and she has succeeded (with her arrogance and rude behaviour) in driving a number of regular customers away including us. We now frequent Ipoh Satay House more regularly where the food and service is better.

Tried Kenny's Malay Kitchen last night since the move Malay Kitchen made from Sunshine Blvd to Gold Coast Bowls Club. Personally I think it's a great location, easy parking, the club has had a bit of a facelift and looks good and the restaurant is fresh and the tables are spaced nicely so you are not sitting on top of one and other. The most important thing - the food. It was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be going back here again. It's no longer BYO but you can buy your drinks at very reasonable prices from the club. All very convenient.
