It's a family hotel, that's for sure. We liked it a lot and it was one of the few budget friendly hotels we found at Lake Garda where prices can go up very high.
Because we had a little baby who is used to sleep in another room we liked the fact that there are apartments with kitchenette en separate bedrooms.
The terrace was very big with our own table, chairs and sunbeds.

Yes the rooms look a little outdated and dusty but actually everything was very clean and was thoroughly cleaned each day we were there. The views of the lake are very nice.

CON: floor 3 and 4 are not accessible by elevator (goes to level 2). With all the baby stuff we had to carry around all the time it was very heavy to have to get everything up the stairs. There were family suits & tower suites on these levels.

We took the halfboard meal option and were very pleased with a very large range of breakfast buffet choises. The dinner was different every night with a cold buffet and a warm. I did a lot of "all ins" and didn't had the feeling is was "the same every night". We liked the food.

Prices of drinks are decent in the hotel. There's a bar where you can have a cocktail or other drinks untill 11/11h30 pm.

The hotel is on a hill - you can walk to the nearby village but you have to be very fit to get back up without a car...

I saw a couple of reviews with complaints about bugs. Well, as you are in a green environment there were indeed some bugs and mosquito's but never in our apartment.. The hallways are "open" so naturally there were some small animals visiting by.

We lost (actually it was stolen) our camera in a shopping center at Affi and the reception of the hotel was so friendly to translate a text in italian so we could make a post on facebook hoping it would lead to our camera.

We arrived very late due to a "black sunday" with a lot of traffic jams and they prepared a cold meal for us!

Room tip: tower suites seem to be only reached by a fair amount of stairs.

Old, dusty, acceptable if you are with children, but a tipical all inclusive spot. Not our type. Pictures in booking.com does not reflect the reality. At Lake of Garda are tons of better spots. Ciao, Christian

+++ Excellent valuable accommodation.
We booked a medium 2-bed room and obtained a spacious 2-room apartment with living room, a/c, terrace w/ desk & chairs and two sunbeds, a small kitchenette w/ refrigerator and uW-oven, TV, spacious bath, separate toilette (the most rooms are such stuffed).
Good to very good food buffets w/ regional daily changing themes.
Relaxed holiday atmosphere. Silent although a lot of kids (animation for them was excellent).
Very family friendly and very obliging, responsive service and personal.
Good to very good valuable price. Absolutely to recommend.

- Minor detail was the very poor WLAN and the old TV (but it worked). For kids animation, rabbits on leash should not be part of it! This is a false sign to kids although they of course liked it.

Room tip: prefer room with a terrace

We travelled with our grandchildren and we had 2 adjoining family rooms. The children loved the beautifully clean and well kept pool. The food was varied and well presented--- we all enjoyed it . Without exception, the staff were wonderful and we all felt so welcome . As for the childrens club, as soon as the lovely leader saw our girls standing there she checked whether they spoke German and included them by speaking English. The air conditioning was more than adequate. Altogether a very positive experience.

Room tip: choose a lake view.

We were so happy with this hotel and couldn't fault anything at all.
The room or mini apartment, was spacious, clean and comfortable. The balcony was huge with a mini patio and we could both sunbathe and catch the late sunshine. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back!
