Super hotel. Very handy for the airport which is about a ten minute drive. The hotel itself has a pool. Clean and nicely furnished with a mix of antiques and modern furniture it has a slightly faded grandeur which is now quite cool. Hopefully they won’t do a massive refurbishment and spoil they character of the place. The staff are definitely the most friendly we encountered during our stay and make the whole experience a pleasure. Dinner is provided in the garden restaurant and was freshly cooked and tasty.
This isn’t a negative but watch the marble stairs they could be a killer after a few glasses of wine but there are lifts so no problem.
The only slight negative would be the bathroom could do with a shower screen. The pillows are a bit uncomfortable being just one long sausage like pillow so not the best.
Comfortable bed tho .

The room was medium in size had a comfortable bed, good air conditioning, lighting and storage space for a one night stop near the airport for a morning departure. What let it down was the lack of shelving within the shower area for shampoo etc. Do hotel bathroom designers believe that shampoo bottles levitate or that elderly people prefer to pick them off the floor at the risk of slipping on a wet surface? Simple solutions are readily available and cheap to install.

Large bathroom with a seperate toilett and a huge balcony (room on the second floor). Overall nice room with comfy bed. Largest breakfast we had in Corsica. Very close to the airport, but you couldn't hear any traffic. Large parking lot in front and back of hotel. Swimming pool open from 9am.

This hotel’s best feature is its convenient location for reaching the airport which is only 5 minutes drive away. The hotel has a restaurant but there are several nearby, as well as a useful petrol station. We had a double room which was quite small filled almost entirely by the bed which was 2 singles pushed together to make a double. The bathroom was adequate with a very small bath and a shower hanging rather loosely on the wall. There are no tea/coffee making facilities or other extras except wifi.

Stayed here on the first and last day of our trip throughout the beautiful Island of Corsica.
Upon arrival the guide told us that a "few" hotels have been changed. For a start this one. Instead of staying at the Castellu Rossi with a pool, we stayed at the Castellu, a few 100 metres away from the Castellu Rossi, but without a pool and a parking with gravel to pull your luggage through, which is great (NOT). There is NO bar and no restaurant, so you have to leave the hotel to have a drink or eat something. A few bars and restaurants/take aways in the neighbourhood. The rooms were basic, but ok. No view however. Staff (when available, because they serve in the Rossu also, were nice). Only one elevator, so when arriving with a group, make sure you are the first at the elevator or take the stairs instead.
All in all not bad, but if you pay for the real stuff (Rossu), you have to insist to get the real stuff.
