The place is on top of the hill! Beautiful setup, casual, good menu, and great service.

This popular restaurant on Penang Hill offers a variety of dishes and beverages. It’s a charming venue to linger after a walk around the hilltop and enjoy the gardens while having a meal or drink.

Went to the bar as opposed to the restaurant. Wasn't too keen either. Good views from the bar, but that was about it. Staff not the best, not was the choice.

We came for dinner on the hill, waiting to see the lights of Penang come on. The outdoor seating and view were awesome, but the meal was overpriced. It was good .. we had sea bass .. but the price of cool drinks (non alcoholic) were 4 to 8 times what you pay elsewhere The dinner price, and the service charge plus GST on top made it the priciest meal we've had in Malaysia (in almost a year living here!) The service was good. The disappointment was that the Local/Asian cuisine was not available that night, so we had to go with western food. Not my first choice, given that we're in Malaysia! If you're just waiting for the lift lines to lessen, or the lights to come on, you'd be better off buying cool drinks at the food stalls and finding a place to sit and enjoy.

I almost didn't go here, but my partner said we should give it a try.
What a lovely place! Nothing was too much trouble. Our waiter was very attentive and engaging.
The food was delicious and reasonably priced.
To be honest we didn't want to rejoin the crowds below, and stretched our lunch out as long as decency would allow.
A beautiful, cool spot, with unobtrusive 50's and 60's ballads playing softly in the background. Perfection!
We'll be sure to re-visit if we come to Penang again.
