Went for the new years eve and we were amazed. Hotel is beatiful, lots of swimming pools, lot of space, a brand new swimming pool for kids. Restaurants were great, food was delicious. Shrimps, lobster, prosciutto, it was a feast every day. Kids loved the food, loved the entertainment program too. The shows are SPETACULAR with real band, real singers, and professional dancers, much different from other resorts, such as club med, where the staff has to dance.
The new years eve was great, food was awsome and beverages too, they served Freixenet (spanish cava) all night long. Had a great time!
Three evenings We asked for a baby sitter and the service was fine too.
The only issue was that I requested a crib on 31st December, and had to ask 4 times and finally got it by 11pm. But I guessed hotel was very busy at that day.

Room tip: Rooms are very big and spacious, the junior suite is located on the 2nd floor, and although it has a nicer view, ground floor is perfect for kids.

Since this is a 5 stars hotel, let's classify what items are really 5 stars:
- Swimming Pool: Yes
- Room: Yes
- Bathroom & shower: Yes
- Buffet Restaurant: Yes
- SPA: Yes
- Sports Activities: Yes
- Beach: No
- Check-in speed: No
- Kids Club: No. (only kids older than 3 years)
- Thematic Restaurants: No (very poor service, variety and quality)
- Internet Wireless Connection: No internet connection in the rooms (terrible)

In general terms, the hotel is really fantastic, but it's too big to expect a very exclusive service.

Room tip: Choose for rooms ins block 6 (closer to everything)

Very nice resort hotel in beautiful Praia do Forte, Great pool, everything is good, the only problem is the food and staff/service, poor service, not well trained staff. About food, is regular but very simple and never change the buffet, it's hard to eat the same thing everyday, and when trying to reserve different restaurants, impossible, they were all pre booked to others, but when you pass near them at dinner time they were empty, hard to understand??!?!?

One of the most expensive resorts in Brazil should have a better food quality in the main buffet. We stayed there for 7 days and the food was terrible from the first dinner to the last breakfast.
On the second day we made a complaint with the Chef and the Guest relations but nothing changed.
Not only the ingredients quality was low but the way they prepare was in a neglect way.

The only restaurants you could eat an avg to good food was the ones you need reserve.
I have been to several resorts in Brazil and comparing the food this was the worse.

Other amenities were great.

It is my second trip to Iberostar Premium Praia do Forte. My family and I stayed at the hotel for six sunny, beautiful, pleasant, delightful, relaxing days. Whenever I have another chance, there I will go again.

Room tip: Ask for Block 6. At the center of the complex.
