Quick winter break to Jamaica a place we had never been before. I was skeptical about travelling here but this resort quickly put all those concerns behind me. It was very clean, well appointed and the staff were excellent. We felt very safe and secure here and thoroughly enjoyed our week. The beech was awesome and kept extremely clean. Pools were great although a bit crowded.
We will be back.

My family and I recently visited the Rose Hall Suites in Jamaica a few a weeks ago. We can't stop talking about how much we loved every moment of our vacation. Every single employee that we met on the resort was helpful, kind, and had an extremely high level of customer service. The service was top notch. We traveled with three children under the age of three and felt that it was a great resort for young children. Upon our check in, Shaunavon helped to make sure we received the correct room and helped to make us feel instantly welcomed. The resort offers plenty food options at the restaurants that are staffed with some of the most genuinely amazing people we met during our trip. The staff at the Miranda Hall Buffet was so helpful with our young children. They were treated like celebrities. They always had the high chair ready for them and offered tips and tricks for meal time. Two of the staff members, Rose-Ann and Shandice even joked that they were my son's babysitters. The love that they showed was appreciated more than they know. Kelesha and Omesha were also fantastic in giving our child so much attention and catering to his needs. I just can't say enough amazing things about this place! We really truly hope that one day we will be back to enjoy more fun in the sun! Absolutely, 100% would recommend this resort to all!

My family and I stayed there the first week in August for 5 days. The staff was wonderful and the food and drinks just as good. I would stick with the buffet - as that will afford you the most choices. The individual restaurants on the premises are basically just a narrowed down choice from what the buffet offers. Always ask for top shelf drinks or they will serve you house stuff. Although you do not have to tip, the staff appreciates tips. Bring cash for exploring (fruit stands on the side of the road are a must!) The one negative is that the beach/water is rocky and there was a lot of seaweed. Bring your water shoes. The water is a lovely temperature however. The pool and all the activities rock! Swim up bar is a huge plus! They also have a wonderful gym and classes if you are so inclined. Great bang for the buck. Visit Dunn River Falls and climb to the top. It is a workout, but fun, fun, fun! WARNING - buy tickets online in advance for the falls (the line is ridiculous in the hot sun.) Bring plenty of sunscreen and a hat.

Room Tip: Ocean view or pool view (partial ocean) is great!

Although i stayed at the Grand, my son and daughter-in-law had their wedding ceremony and reception at the suites. It was a total disappointment and heart-breaking. They began the ceremony late because the hotel did not want to provide the bride with a shuttle to the property- they wanted her to walk with her gown and long train from the Grand to the Suites. Then to the reception- it was very windy and the Suites did not protect the food or guests from the sand blowing into the tent. There was no side walls placed to secure everything inside. My dress was ruined because a plate of salad flew up on me. The band started late and the singer was not present to sing their wedding song so they ruined that once in a lifetime moment. Last minute they had to get a DJ to save the reception. All the food was coated with sand and the cake had to be removed because of the sand blowing into the tent. I am so surprised at the level of incompetence with how they handled this wedding. Even the flowers were wrong.- wrong colors and flowers that were paid for for the mothers never came.

We were a group of 40 plus attending a wedding as I have food allergies that are lifethreating I emailed the hotel prior to our vacation then on arrival went to guest services to make sure that the chef could accommodate me but the service was slow and some of the meals were good but most of the time at least one hour wait for every meal and even after reminding the chef every meal they served me food that I told them that I was allergic to and had to go to hospital by ambulance after using my epipen don't believe them if they tell you that your food is safe no way this should happen if you have life threatening allergies this is not the place to go always stayed at the Riu resorts and never had this problem even in countries with language barrier very disappointed in iberostar resorts as they don't care if you live or die same with air canada they don't care either so choose carefully as lots of resorts like the Riu will make sure your safe
