While traveling from Pemberton through to the Okanagan we stayed for just one night at the lovely Lakeside Country Inn. This charming place is truly an oasis and we were so happy to have come across it and look forward to returning again on our next trip. The owners are warm and gracious and live on the property and make you feel like a guest in their very special home. The decor is charming and the attention to details is exceptional. The room could not have been cleaner. #4 was cozy but had everything we needed and we would not hesitate to choose this room again. It was very comfortable with a lovely balcony overlooking the lake. We liked that it was on the end of the building so we had a wide view from the balcony. The gardens are just beautiful and are obviously a labor of love. They are so peaceful with comfortable Adirondack chairs with which to enjoy the beauty of this spot on Kamloops Lake. We were too late in the season to enjoy breakfast other reviews claim this was a highlight so hope to be able to enjoy that next time. Although there are frequent trains that go by I really don't think they would bother any but the lightest sleeper, they certainly did not affect the quality of our sleep in that very comfortable bed.
